★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The staff and Vet here were beyond amazing to us! The care, compassion, and empathy toward a pet owner having to make the difficult choice whether to be selfish or free your animal from pain was beyond humane and incredible! I have never been to a vet with such compassion. I have never been treated so well during a difficult time like this. It really helped me to process things by getting the extra time with my dog. He got to have chicken and chocolate before we said goodbye. I was extremely emotional and they didn't rush us out or make us feel like we were holding them up. We really needed those extra moments we were given. To top it all off I got a very sweet card in the mail from them, signed by all of the staff and vet, along with my dog's paw and nose prints. My family sincerely thanks you all for your kindness and compassion! Please keep up the great work! Empathy and compassion aren't easy to come by these days, especially when it comes to our beloved animals. I'd give 10 stars if they'd let me!
August 07 · Cara MarieTook my rescue there for vaccines, a nail trim, & his yearly check-up. They did great! He was comfortable & never whimpered once. The Vet & Tech explained everything as they went along. Suggested future preventatives & gave estimates to help with considerations. Thank you White Stone
February 01 · John LaughlinI brought in my Bloodhound/ a larger breed dog for some vaccines and a possible nail trimming. It was said he does not like his feet touched in our initial meeting and I knew it would be a struggle to do anything with his paws. However a blood draw was attempted where a tiny muzzle was slipped on for staff safety. Completely understandable! A blood draw for heartworm testing was attempted before any shots were given and my dog being the bucking bronco he is went to remove the muzzle and tore off his duclaw. Not the staff's fault at all but as they tried to mitigate the damage (wrap up his bloody paw) i saw the muzzle they had used on him and completely understood they were not equipped for larger breeds. I wish they would've told me they didn't have the facilities to care for him before he hurt himself but I understand he's a difficult dog to handle at any vet. We were in there for twenty minutes and no exam was performed only attempted. So I was sent with sedatives and paid the exam fee so my next appointment would go smoother. I was told the next exam would be free after I paid for the attempted examination. After further consideration I rescheduled him with a Monrovia vet that is more equipped to deal with larger breeds and cancelled my rescheduled appointment, so I asked for a refund of the exam fee. They replied pretty passive aggressively when I canceled and asked for a refund. I just wish I would have been treated better when I opted out of bringing him back..
July 29 · Trista RheaMy cat contracted a virus from going to another clinic in decatur, most likely and was very sick upon arrival.I really liked how friendly the nurse was I forgot her name, but she was nice! I came here because it had a five star review, I was in and out, and it wasn’t a long wait, They took care of My little guy, And he seems now to be recovering a little bit better Even though he peed in the car on my way home, I was glad to see that he did that. That was a good sign And he started eating. There are some clinics you really need to watch out for, But I will be trusting this location For my future Needs as they were very good people And they seem like they cared about him too And his situation and they didn’t just wanna rush us off. Thank you guys for all of your help. Hopefully, he will be back to the full swing soon.Update: he says thank you
February 15 · justin collierI rarely leave Google reviews. But White Stone has been incredible! Though the diagnosis and outcome for our sweet kitty was not what we wanted, Dr. Froderman and the staff were absolutely wonderful throughout the process! They were very kind, patient, informative, and generous. So professional yet gentle, and we are so appreciative!
