★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Different Banfield locations can be a bit hit-or-miss, but the Hampton location has been amazing. Our vizsla pup, Louis, has unfortunately had a long series of different health issues, so we’ve had more than our fair share of visits here. Louis actually gets excited when we pull up because they all love up on him so much. The front office has also been more than patient with my wife and I, and our never-ending lists of questions about each new issue. Thank you so much, Dr. Pachner, Rena, Amanda, Kylie, and everyone else at the Hampton office - we appreciate you!
May 21 · Joseph PauszekDr Barber and her excellent staff were caring and wonderful to our two felines. They came home happy and hungry...always a good sign. thanks to your entire staff... kudos and happy 4th to you all. Bruce and Kathy Ames (east mesa,az)
July 02 · Bruce AmesOn Friday, April 11, 2025, my husband took our dog to Banfield Pet Hospital at 6932 E Hampton Ave, Mesa, AZ 85209 for some services. One of them was an ear cleaning. Before taking him, I checked his ears and they looked clean and dry. I usually clean them myself, but I thought a professional should do it because his fur is growing inside his ears and maybe I wasn’t doing it right. His ears looked fine when I took him in.When my dog came home, I saw he was scratching his ear a lot with his paw. I thought it was normal after the cleaning. I checked the invoice and it said “Level 1 ear cleaning” costing $44.37Later, I noticed he kept itching, and there was a watery discharge from one ear, like they left some liquid inside. I took pictures. His other ear looked fine and dry, like they didn’t do anything to it.I trusted that they treated him well, so I thought maybe it was normal. But the ear kept leaking, looked irritated and hurt, and my dog was uncomfortable, scratching all the time, shaking his head, and rubbing his ear on the floor. This morning he didn’t want to eat. His ear smelled bad and looked really bad. I got scared and took him to an emergency vet. The doctor told me ears should not be left wet because bacteria can grow, and that’s exactly what happened. My dog got two bacterial infections, and his ear was swollen and hurt.He just started his medicine and isn’t better yet. The emergency visit cost me $400. It’s not about money I would do anything for my dog. But this happened because of negligence, and that’s serious. If I had known they didn’t know how to clean ears properly, I wouldn’t have taken him there. It’s hard to trust professionals when they don’t take good care of our pets.I’m very disappointed and won’t take my dog back there. Because of how serious this is and the harm caused, I’m reserving the right to take legal action.
July 18 · Esthefania TapiaI just really want to thank the front staff that was working this past saturday nov 9th, I wish I would’ve gotten her name. I called in first thing in the morning hoping to get a same day appt for my sick baby(which I know is usually impossible because they are usually really booked), she informed me they were in fact all booked but still asked me what was going on. After explaining the situation she placed me on a hold and said she would ask the Dr. to see if there is anyway they could squeeze her in, to which the Dr. accepted🙏🏼Thank you Dr. Pachner and staff for taking the time to care for my sick pup!
November 11 · Anaheim FloresAlways so, so happy with this location; the staff are so friendly and clearly care about their animals (and the owners)! Dr. Pachner is a great veterinarian and obviously is very passionate about what he does!
