★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have a sick cat with cancer the last visit with Country critters we were told they could get a medication to us for nausea using their pharmacy and the vet told us it would take two days and they would call us. None of this happened. Several days went by we finally had to call the vet back and get the number from them for the pharmacy they use and it took two days to get a hold of the pharmacy once we got a hold of the pharmacy. They did not know what we were talking about. And said that they typically did not call people back in two days and it took at least a week or more to get the medication through the mail, So when I called the vet and began to explain this they acted offended that I had even said anything and they was not happy to hear my concerns at first I talked to some lady and she was supposed to go check on something and put me on hold. Then I called back and talked to a man he was less than friendly and . Told me they loved the pharmacy and wouldn’t change anything. I suggested that they tell their customers that it could take up to a week and that they may need to call the pharmacy to get an account with them. They don’t seem to be willing to do this and was not happy at my suggesting it.we will be looking for another vet if possible,. But I will not personally deal with them anymore, my wife will have to, I would not recommend anyone using this vet Country critters until they’re willing to listen to people‘s concerns and not lie and listen to complaints in a polite manner And be willing to make changes if appropriate,The pharmacy is as important as the doctor that you work with or the vet. Unbeknownst to me, my wife was on The line to the vet ordering medication for our very sick cat, whatever guy I was on the phone with to was rude and said I gotta go order medication clearly he was done dealing with me, do you Want to deal with a veterinarian like this?
October 03 · Love GodFriendly staff and great looking facility. They take care of my families 9-week-old puppy, and we trust them 100%. Highly recommend.
July 11 · Kyle LahtinenUpdate:The vet responded back the same day and provided a great detail and resolved my concerns. I think we can work forward to figuring out what can be done and perhaps talk with a specialist. Thank you, I’m very glad you reached out and informed me of why this is done. I have increased the rating. I’ll see how the second round of antibiotics do and hopefully it’s resolved. If not I’ll follow up for what to do next.Original posting below:I asked if my cat could be tested such as a nose swab before doing a second round of antibiotics. Let’s actually confirm this is the right path before trying another antibiotic. I asked the tech, and he said the vet said we don’t do that. I think it’s professional to confirm what the issue is before treating it, giving antibiotics for no reason. If you do in fact do a swab or something to see if it’s bacterial or viral I would be very interested. If not I’ll stick with my review.
February 04 · Zachary TaylorBrought my cat today for boosters & unwittingly didn’t read their open time (again, I’m so sorry). And even though they weren’t set to open for 15 minutes, they unlocked the doors and allowed us in. Despite cutting into their lunch time, the staff was super friendly & extremely professional. In & out in under 30 minutes.
July 08 · Erika RichardsonAbsolute best, most caring staff. They truly care about your animal as of it were their own. Cannot thank them enough.
