★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We use both Dr. Charlie (large animals) and his wife (small animals). Both are awesome, kind and compassionate and take additional time to explain complex issues. Not a huge fan of negative comments about not taking walk ins. There is only 1 vet for small animals. 1 vet for large animals and Doctor Charlie is on the road as he is mobile for the large animal side. Please be respectful of our vets and their staff. They do the best they can. You can't always see what is going on in a clinic. Do not assume. This is a fantastic clinic. The staff is wonderful and kind. Thank you for being our vets. It is a hard job.
September 07 · Tracy LauricWe love them at Hartzell vet great people to bring our pets there,Max and Maggie ♥️🤗
April 11 · Jeff SandersSaved my horse from choke and helps to direct us to vets that do horse surgeries
August 05 · Gabriel BurkeIf I could give zero stars, I would. Visited this "vet" today, because my dog had a problem that needed to be taken care of asap. 2 females in the office, no patients. One asked whether I have an appointment. I told her that I don't have one but my dog has a problem and needed help. She didn't even ask what problem and just said "we don't take walk ins". A doctor's office (no matter whether it's human or pets) shouldn't act that way. If medical help is needed (I don't talk about a routine check, vaccination, etc. I'm talking about a problem/pain that needs to be addressed asap), there should be help. A vet and and his employees should care about animals. If they don't, if it's just a "job" they should stock shelves at Walmart. If you have a problem with your pet, don't even try going there, it's wasted time. Look for another vet
April 27 · Kurt WagnerI wanted to take my cats to her since years ago I had taken my cats who had passed. I had really liked her and trusted her. When I called this year I was told I was not in the computer. I called several times to see if she was taking new clients. Yes was the answer, starting late June. I was excited and told the secretary that I would like to make an appointment for July. I was told to wait a minute. She came back to phone and told me to find another vet. I asked why since I had always paid my bills and spoke well of her. She repeated again to find another vet and would not give me any reason. So I am guessing that it must be that I am a poor, white, elderly woman since I know of no other reason. Even if I was told I that she would see them now I could not take them as I fear for my cats lives. So sad that I am getting treated this way. I feel so discriminated against. I would not recommend this vet if you are old, poor, white woman basing it on my experience. I do not know about her husband who does large animals.
