Johnson Veterinary Clinic Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I am giving four stars because we normally love this veterinary clinic. Dr. Mike and all of the staff that we have dealt with have been absolutely wonderful. However, a recent experience has left a bad taste.Nicole answered the phone when we had an emergency with one of our dogs and was extremely short, rude, and acted as if she couldn’t be bothered with our situation. I had to ask multiple times for records to be sent to me and they never were. Each time she told me that she was “working on it”. My husband finally went in and had them printed and she was rude to him as well. This is only one person out of many others who have been wonderful but, I think when it comes to emergency situations, she needs to work on her delivery a bit. I typically never leave bad reviews but, I do not want a reputable veterinary practice to be spoiled by one person. We will probably continue to see Dr. Mike because we love him but, when the time comes for him to retire, we will move elsewhere. As I said, most of the staff is incredible but, one bad apple can really ruin the bunch.
June 30 · M ReyWe had a great experience today with our lab, Sarge! Dr. Mike was very caring and honest with his recommendations. We will definitely be establishing care here for both of our pets. I was disappointed with our previous vet suggesting extreme, expensive procedures that were not necessary. Sarge felt happy and safe!
June 11 · Jessie GogulskiI wish we had a positive experience. Office closes at 6:00, we walked in at 5:15 because our Yorkie was in distress. The receptionist went to check with the doctor, but we were turned away because the doctor wanted to get home for dinner. The compassion for pets/animals requires an appointment. It's a good thing this wasn't a people doctor, or the bodies would be stacking up. I'm sure when this doctor decided to go into veterinary medicine, it was actually about compassion, but somewhere along their career, that compassion was replaced with something much less Nobel.
July 31 · Pete ArtcliffI had a situation recently where my freshly spayed cat stitches had busted open. I rushed her back to the clinic and everyone there was incredibly kind. I broke down in the exam room because of how scared I was and they did everything in their power to make me more comfortable and ensure me that my cat was in the best hands. I am beyond grateful for all that they do.
January 18 · Kristy KinneyJust want to thank Dr. Mike he has taken care of my Maggie since she was 7 weeks old. She had to be euthanized yesterday she was almost 11 years old and my heart is broke there will never be another dog like her she was perfect in every way. Thanks again for everything you did for her.
