★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We have trusted Harrison Animal Hospital with our pets for years and they have always taken great care of them. Our 4 year old Basset Hound, Myrtle, has had pretty standard care - all of her puppy and adult vaccines as well as her spay went perfectly. She even had a strange mystery allergy that took a few appointments to nail down, but we got her taken care of and she is in great health. Our 11 year old Coonhound/Pyrenees mix, Klaus, is a different story. Though he’s a perfect gentleman and friendly as can be everywhere else, he is HORRIBLE at the vet. He came to us as a rescue at 2 years old, and we know nothing about his prior vet or grooming experiences. He gets sedated for his nail trims a few times a year - thanks to Dr. Kremer and her accommodating staff, we have his routine nailed down now so that he can be cared for while keeping everyone safe. He has also had a few tumors removed as well as a skin condition which is under control now. I can’t say enough about how understanding and empathetic they have been despite his behavior. We are so thankful, and that’s why we continue to make the hour round-trip drive to them all these years later.Additionally, I appreciate the transparency regarding cost of care. Dr. Kremer always makes our options clear and doesn’t nickel and dime you for unnecessary additional treatments or procedures. I’ve never paid a bill here and thought it was unreasonable.I would like to add that though I’ve had one or two icy interactions with front desk staff in the past, there have been a lot of new and friendly faces behind the desk in the last year or two and they’ve made a huge difference! Other folks I know who bring their pets here have noticed the change as well and it makes the visit even better.Thank you Dr. Kremer and the entire staff at Harrison Animal Hospital for being a practice we can trust with both our easy dog and our problem child :) we appreciate you!
July 09 · Rowan HarrisonFrom waliking in, to the techs and every doctor there, we’ve never had a bad experience and we’ve been coming here for all of our vet needs since 2008. We live about 20 minutes away and I’d drive farther for them. Our 6 month old shmaltie-poo was just spayed and it went so smoothly. Her inscision looks so good, you’d never tell anything happened! Dr. Kremer herself called me after to tell me the surgery went as planned and gave me time to ask questions, as if I was talking to a pediatrician. I love this place!
July 19 · Veronica FischerI have nothing but fantastic things to say about Harrison animal hospital! I have a senior dachshund who is diabetic and very high needs with veterinary care and a Rottweiler who recently was hit by a car. They couldn’t have handled my Rottie any better. He’s the sweetest dog but he hates the vet. They were so understanding when he came in grumpy and hurting. I would have spent thousands at an ER but they got us right in and gave him the best care! They are always so helpful and accommodating with my diabetic girl as well! The techs are wonderful! The front desk staff (Zach especially) are TOP NOTCH! I’ve been seeing Dr Land frequently and couldn’t be happier with his willingness to treat conservatively if it’s an option. He cares. He listens. I left this practice ~10 years ago due to wait times and some overall dissatisfaction but I’ve experienced nothing but the most incredible care since we’ve been back! Hands down, the best around.
April 12 · Lydia binghamHarrison Animal Hospital literally saved our boy's life. Herman was barely hanging on, and we weren't sure why. Our local vet was booked but recommended we call Harrison Animal Hospital. I called and although they were already very busy and booked up, they took him in that day. The whole staff treated him like their own. Never being away from him since we adopted him, I was nervous about leaving him alone overnight. They gave me constant updates and pictures and quickly found out the exact issue. Picking him up the next day, they took the time to explain it all to me. They got him set up with a treatment plan that now has him thriving!! Looking at him now, you would've never guessed he almost died. He is such a special part of our family and we cannot thank Harrison Animal Hospital enough. I would recommend anyone and everyone to them! I've attached the sweetest picture of one of the staff members with our boy on his pickup day!
September 27 · Mary BurnetteIt has taken us years to find an animal hospital with incredible veterinary staff who are not only extremely helpful, but very compassionate. Dr. Kremer has been an absolute godsend. She’s very thorough to the point and will not put you through anything more than necessary financially or overall for your pets well-being. Because of Dr. Kremer, we have been able to successfully control both of our dogs seizures. Dr. Frerick has also been a wonderful doctor, she is kind and helped us when our one pup was found to have mass cell. We are always able to get an appointment as quickly as needed. Over the years, we have recommended this Animal Hospital too many friends and family who have also moved their pets healthcare to this staff, and I think that that alone speaks volumes for how wonderful the staff is. Thank you Harrison Animal Hospital, from Jax and Buster.
