Sugarloaf Animal Clinic Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our recent visit to Sugarloaf Animal Clinic was amazing, from the moment we arrived, the entire team was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. The care and compassion they showed toward my dog Remi was great and they made my very nervous girl feel comfortable. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was informed and confident about Remi’s visit. It’s clear that everyone there truly loves what they do. I would highly recommend Sugarloaf Animal Clinic to any pet owner looking for exceptional veterinary care!
October 03 · Bethany CrabtreeI rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent visit with my dog, Whiskey, left me extremely upset and concerned. One of the employees repeatedly pulled hard on Whiskey’s leash — not just once, but multiple times. This was unnecessary, unprofessional, and distressing to watch. Our pets deserve kindness, patience, and gentle handling, especially in a place where they should feel safe. On top of that, the staff’s attitude was rude and dismissive, making the entire experience unpleasant.I expect a veterinary clinic to treat animals with respect and compassion, and unfortunately, that standard was not met here. I will not be returning and would encourage others to choose a clinic that truly values the comfort and well-being of their patients.
August 13 · Paris ZamaniRecently moving to Arizona with my 18 year old cat, Puffy, from Idaho, I knew I would shorty after have to put her down. The day came and I made the appointment. Even though this was my first and only appointment at Sugarloaf, the staff was so very welcoming, kind, and made me feel as if I’d been going there for years. They gave me multiple options for going about putting her down, such as if I wanted to be in the room or not and if I wanted to see her afterwards for closure. They also gave me a clay circle with her paw print free of charge. Throughout the appointment, the doctor told me how good of an owner I had been to Puffy and I could see how much they genuinely cared about how hard of a day this was for me. After giving me lots of alone time with Puffy after she had passed, I left heartbroken but feeling as if I felt like I did the right thing and the staff gave me all the closure and kind words I needed to get through the day. I couldn’t have chosen a better vet. Thank you so much Sugarloaf
June 26 · Taryn WiltDr rai and her staff are the most caring and wonderful staff ever! Professional, capable, and super fair. Would recommend them to ANYBODY 10/10!!!! Here is our (me and my fiances) baby girl who had the best care ever!
July 16 · sahej samraI want to start by saying that the staff at this veterinary clinic took excellent care of my dog when he needed medical attention. Their compassion and dedication to my pet were evident, and I truly appreciated that. However, my positive experience quickly turned sour when I received the bill. The costs were extremely inflated, largely due to a number of recommended services that felt unnecessary. It seems this business is more focused on financial gains rather than providing cost-effective treatments for our beloved pets.Additionally, I found Dr. Rai, the owner, to be quite condescending and difficult to work with. While the care for my pet was commendable, the overall experience left much to be desired.Unfortunately, because of these issues, I will not be bringing my business back to this clinic. I hope they can address these concerns for the sake of their future clients and their pets.
