★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place is amazing, my dog got into chocolate last minute so we had yo take her in. They were very nice and helping with my price range. They helped find other medication that will help my pup if it was too expensive here. my dog loved them and we got here quick and they took us in right away! So happy they helped work in my budget.
March 22 · Zoey VargasIf you have an emergency and your pet needs to be seen, I highly recommend this place to all of you, from the first phone call I’ve made to entering the facility. I was treated with the upmost respect, knowledgeable staff everything is explained to you in a way that you can understand and will appreciate, I didn’t know if I was making the right decision or not, but they talked me through everything, they are so knowledgeable And very understanding, If I could rate them more than five stars, I definitely would give them 100. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby Justice. The vet that examined My two-year-old GSD explained everything in detail before, and after he did anything which put me more at ease ! And my GSD Justice Was very happy with them too. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience in a time of an emergency.
June 27 · rose skeensOverall I would say this place is a money grab and to just take your pet to an actual emergency vet maybe the one in franklin. The prices are relatively the same and you’ll receive much better care.. I found it odd they don’t examine your pet in front of you but rather take them to a back room. They give you no actual record of your pets visit. No printout of weight, or vitals, no visit summary. Also let it be known that if you choose not to pay the 212 dollars for amoxicillin and just get a script for the 37 dollar medication from chewy they will charge you 60.09 to write that script. When I asked why given how much they charge for everything the nurses exact words were “the owners love money” oh and you’ll have to mail that script in yourself because they have online verification turned off with chewy. When I called to ask why that wasn’t an option they tried to gaslight and were adamant that the nurse informed me but that is a bold faced lie. Save your money and your pet and go somewhere else.Update: I received an email stating that Costco and Nora’s apothecary were the only two possible places that could fill the script locally but I found that Walgreens was able to do it for 24 dollars. Meaning VetCheck has a 600% markup on meds. That is pricing gouging and shameful. It’s clearly not about the animals. If your overhead requires markups like that then perhaps you need a new business model. Or maybe just rethink your greed.
October 12 · Erin BennettI cannot express enough the compassion, love, caring that this office and the Fischer office have.. My 12 year old baby boy was suffering and extremely sick. Like most ppl today I cannot get ahead to have an emergency fund put up. I spent 2 days calling all over Indiana and Ohio looking for help for my baby and looking for financial assistance. Luckily I called the Fischers office and they were willing to help me! I lived a cple hrs away so I scheduled the appointment for later yesterday (July 8,2025) to give myself time to get him there. I let the lady Racheal know we lived a distance away while making the appointment. After we hung up within an hour she called me back to let me know there was other clinics and she wanted to help me get closer to my location. I thought this was the kindest and most thoughtful thing that she cared enough and knew our situation was severe she went above an beyond to call me back and help me with this! Fast forward we ended up going to the Southport location where again the compassion and love and caring for my baby boy and myself was the most above and beyond I’ve ever experienced! You see most doctors and veterinary’s have forgotten the reason they became doctors to begin with! WHICH WAS TO HELP SAVE LIVES AT SOME POINT IT BECOMES JUST A ((JOB)) “” to make money”” THIS IS ((((NOT)))) the case for these people that work at Fischers or Southport and even the OWNER!!!! They care They have compassion for you and your fur baby!! Unfortunately my UNO was not able to be saved due to cancer and internal masses that were not even known that he had!. I cannot express how grateful I am for the communication between the 2 locations how grateful I am for the owners how grateful I am for everyone involved with getting my baby help yesterday! When I told them his symptoms they new he needed URGENT HELP!! It was about what was best for him and even myself!. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE 2 LOCATIONS!!! I have a German Shepard that is going to spayed in the next few months after she turns 2 she will be going to these clinics! My mother has animals as well our animals will be brought here for future!! If you want your fur babies treated no matter how severe or not severe their issues are these 2 locations are the by far the BEST…. They are not just animals they are our family our baby’s!.. These locations had open arms and gave my baby nothing but LOVE!.. THE LOVE WAS ALSO Extended TO ME AND MY FAMILY THAT WAS WITH ME!.. EVEN THOUGH WE COULD NOT SAVE MY BABY DUE TO HIS ILLNESS THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME HELP MY BABY!!!! My heart is sooo broken from my loss but the way WE was treated DEFINITELY HELPED WITH OUR PROCESS YESTERDAY!!!! I will ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL FOR THE 2 CLINICS AND EVEN THE OWNER!!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING INCLUDING THE LOVE AND COMPASSION CARING AND HEART YOU (((ALL))) GAVE ME, MY BABY, & MY FAMILY THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME THANK YOU FOR HELPING MY BABY!!… THIS ACTS OF KINDNESS WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN…
July 09 · Brenda DrewI brought in my 4.5 month pup Annabelle for a possible ear infection. When we arrived the staff was so welcoming and friendly. They checked us in fast and took her straight back. They were very helpful in explaining the plan of action and the payment options. I was there for about 1.5 or so. Hopefully I won't need any more urgent care in the future but if I do I will be taking her back and my other fur babies if they need attention.Thank you again for everything. I greatly appreciate it.
