★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Today was one of the hardest days of my life. Billy was 12 years old and I took her here at 7am. She needed to be put down and it was a very hard decision. The whole vet staff was really amazing and kind. They took her right in and tried to help as much as possible. The vet was very understanding and did everything humanely. This is a really good place for pets. At least I got to be with Billy when she went.
October 10 · ccKyuubiWe have had to wonderful experiences with here during 2 very difficult times. Our 12 year old Corgi passed and they took her right away, we did not wait in the lobby more than 2 seconds. They were so good with our 2 young, emotional kids, letting them say their final good byes in a private space in a back room. They send a loving card afterwords with everyone’s signature that we kept with her picture.Recently, we had to put down our 7 year old mini lop bunny that had 2 large tumors. No exotic vet would help us or bunny rescue and our sweet boy was not doing well. So thankful for these wonderful people that could end his suffering when we had no where else to turn. They saw him right away and as always are as nice and professional as they come!
October 01 · Lisa LOur old man Jack had his stomach flip in the middle of the night. They were quick to answer the phone and tell us to immediately bring him in. As soon as we got there they took him back and determined that he had bloat. The emergency doc and staff was very helpful and informative as far as the procedure and post opt care. They kept us updated from the surgery to the time we picked him up. The unfortunate news was something somewhere between surgery and post op caused his stomach to become septic a week later. Though the emergency doc told us that we could do another surgery and try to get everything out there wasn’t a good survival rate and with how old and already trying to recover from the previous surgery, he did give us that option along with his recommendation of euthanasia. The decision was very hard to make and the staff were so sweet and kind to us. We were able to go out and spend a little more time with him before making that decision and then after we had decided they allowed us to put him to rest outside with us around and laying under the tree. It was so sad but a bittersweet moment. They gave us a save box with a clay paw print and ink print. Along with an extra nose print and bottle of his hair. All though situation wasn’t what we expected or wanted for our bubbas, it was nice to have staff that cared and gave the time and space to make everything of the situation special for us. I’m sure that they would have done the right thing for any situation we would have needed them for.
May 31 · Robin TurnerIt's hard to review this place because our visit ended in heartbreak, but I think the staff all deserve a shout out for how kind they were. Our cat Loki spent a few days being hospitalized but never improved and had too many other factors that made him a poor surgical candidate. The young male doctor who helped our baby boy pass peacefully was very genuine and made it...easy isn't the right word but made us feel confident we were doing the right thing.About a year later, our other cat started to exhibit signs that I thought were similar to the ones I rationalized away when it came to Loki. I was in a state of absolute hysteria to the point where I couldn't sleep, I just paced around until midnight and finally decided I couldn't stand waiting and ending up with the same result so we went in during the wee hours of the morning. When the doctor came in, I just started sobbing when trying to tell her what I was concerned about, and her eyes got swimmy too. I felt heard and seen. It ended up being nothing ultimately, but the peace of mind I got from his work up was worth it to me.Cat tax of our boys. We miss Loki everyday still but we're thankful to the kind people here who cared for him.
July 19 · Tiffany BarnesMy husband and I were vacationing in Hawaii when we got a call at 4 am Hawaii time that our almost 7-year-old golden doodle, Remmy, had a flipped stomach. It was either emergency surgery or euthanasia. Dr. Dyck was very kind, conscious of the severity of the situation and advised us accordingly. Four hours later (whew!), Dr. Dyck called to let us know our Remmy had made it through surgery, but the next 72 hours would be critical. While Remmy stayed in critical care for five days after surgery, my husband and I were able to call anytime to speak with your staff, and they never seemed bothered or annoyed with our questions. We were treated with the utmost respect, and my son and daughter-in-law were even encouraged to come visit. Tears in Hawaii when we saw a video of that reunion and the tail wags! We knew Remmy was in great care.We can’t thank you ALL enough for everything you have done to keep our family whole. The love and professionalism and wisdom and comfort you have shown us will never be forgotten. We are forever grateful.
