Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce
For pet owners in Fishers, Indianapolis, and the surrounding central Indiana areas seeking accessible and affordable preventative medical care for their dogs and cats, the Vetco Vaccination Clinic provides a focused solution. Operating within the well-known Petco store environment, this clinic is not a full-service animal hospital, but rather a dedicated wellness center specializing in the most critical aspects of routine preventative health: vaccinations, parasite prevention, and microchipping.
The Vetco model is designed to make essential pet health maintenance convenient and cost-effective, helping Indiana families keep their companions protected against common, serious diseases. By focusing specifically on wellness checks and preventative measures, the clinic aims to provide a reliable, no-exam-fee option for regular immunizations and parasite control. This approach complements a pet's primary veterinary care, ensuring that core health protocols are kept up-to-date with minimal hassle.
The clinic offers a range of bundled packages, such as 'Pup Start' and 'Dog Shield Pro,' making it easier for local pet owners to manage their pet’s health budget and vaccination schedule. However, potential clients should note that while the Vetco model is built on convenience, it is a focused service. It is essential to recognize that appointments are required, and the service is limited to preventative care; it does not handle surgeries, emergency treatments, or complex illness diagnostics. Furthermore, client feedback occasionally indicates variability in staff demeanor and attention to detail regarding specific prescription requests, underscoring the importance of clear communication during your visit.

Key Features and Highlights
The service model of Vetco Vaccination Clinic provides several distinct benefits for local users seeking routine preventative care.
- Affordable & Transparent Pricing: The focus on preventative-only services often translates to competitive pricing on vaccines and tests, with a clear menu of services and packages. This budget-conscious approach helps pet owners adhere to crucial immunization schedules.
- Convenience of Location: Located inside the Fishers Petco store, it allows pet owners to combine their routine veterinary visit with purchasing pet food and supplies.
- Preventative Health Focus: The clinic's core mission is to promote pet wellness through consistent, accessible vaccinations and parasite prevention, which is fundamental to long-term pet health in the Indiana region.
- Bundled Wellness Packages: The tiered packages (Pup Start, Dog Shield, etc.) simplify decision-making and budgeting for puppy series and annual boosters, ensuring all essential, non-core vaccinations appropriate for the pet’s lifestyle are considered.
- Prescription Fulfillment: The ability to fulfill prescriptions for parasite preventatives through Petco Pharmacy (Vetsource) adds an extra layer of convenience for obtaining medications immediately after testing.
However, potential clients should exercise caution and ensure attention to detail. Reviews point to issues with vaccine fulfillment and incorrect prescriptions (e.g., Heart Guard when Revolution was requested), suggesting that owners must remain proactive in confirming all services and prescriptions are exactly as requested before leaving the clinic.

What is Worth Choosing Vetco Vaccination Clinic
The Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Fishers, IN, is a worthwhile choice for Indiana pet owners who prioritize affordability and convenience for routine preventative care. Its model is specifically designed to minimize the cost and time associated with essential vaccinations and parasite control, which are vital for a pet's health. The tiered Pup and Dog Shield packages offer a structured, budget-friendly way to ensure pets receive a complete spectrum of immunizations and necessary deworming.
It is most recommended for healthy adult pets and puppies needing their scheduled booster series. However, due to the focused nature of the service, it is not a substitute for a full-service veterinarian. Pet owners must remember that complex medical issues, sickness, or emergency care require a traditional animal hospital. Furthermore, to mitigate the risk of minor errors reported in customer reviews, pet owners should be prepared to firmly and politely confirm all service details, including the exact names of requested vaccines and parasite preventatives, both before and after the service is rendered. When used as a complementary, convenient, and low-cost option for core wellness maintenance, Vetco serves a valuable role in the Indiana pet health landscape.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Went to Fishers from the south side, we are boarding our dogs in September, so we wanted to get them all done together. The check in girl was pleasant and you could tell she loved dogs. The vet assistant looked mean and wasn’t very nice handling our dog, she let her rear back and almost flipped on her back, luckily she didn’t fall backwards. The vet lady wasn’t very friendly either. They did our one dog and said they couldn’t do the 2nd one because she was trying to get away, they wouldn’t let us help calm her and said she has a fever anyways (how did they get a temp if she wasn’t cooperating). So we went to another place which was way closer, and everyone one was sooo friendly, they let us help and miraculously our dogs didn’t have a fever-will never go to Vetco again. And Petco and Vetco should look into the vet and vet assistant for complaints, because I can’t imagine we are the first ones complaining.
September 02 · Gnet3600My dog did not receive all the vaccines I requested at our appointment so I had to go back in and get his flu vaccine added on. I was charged an additional $5.99 materials fee but it was not my error. Further, I told the technician that my dog uses Revolution and has a BAD reaction to heart guard. My prescription given was heart guard. I was told this would be updated and sent to me but it has not been. I tried to call the customer line and now I’m told I have to go back to when they have a clinic open to ask about fixing the error again.
February 19 · Samantha HillWould give zero stars if I could. Booked my cat an appointment to get her rabies vaccine here. When I got there they asked what vaccines she was needing, I told them I just needed the 3 year rabies. They asked if I wanted to add on any additional vaccines as she was due for all her vaccines. I said no, just the rabies as I already had an appointment for her other vaccines at a later date through her normal vet. They then quoted me $113 which seemed steep but given that I had never gone through vetco before I assumed this was just another overpriced vaccine situation. I then watched as they administered 2 different shots and an oral solution to my cat which I found weird, but again didn’t question as I’m not super knowledgeable on pet vaccinations. I paid and left and they said they were emailing a visit summary. When I reviewed the summary it showed that not only did she not get the 3 year rabies, but she got 2 vaccines I did not ask for and a 1 year rabies shot. They had sent a survey to my email asking me to review my recent visit and I expressed my frustration about the situation. An associate with Vetco then reached out defending her staff and offering a 20% off next service as a solution/apology. Bad business practices, unethical medical practices. Will absolutely not be using that 20% coupon as I would never take a pet here again.
