Choosing Lodder's Plaza Animal Clinic is worth considering for Hamilton and Butler County residents seeking a veterinary provider that offers a comprehensive suite of essential small animal services in one centralized, accessible location. The availability of general X-rays, dental care, and general surgery under one roof minimizes the need for external referrals for routine procedures, making ongoing pet care simpler and more efficient for the client.
However, an essential part of factual and responsible local information must address the highly critical patient feedback provided by local users. While one customer offers a positive, general appraisal ("Really nice place has come along way!"), another provides a detailed and deeply distressing account of an end-of-life experience, stating the care provided by Dr. Shawn Webster was "the worst and most traumatizing experience," characterized by a dismissive and insensitive approach during a critical time (euthanasia). Comments like "Lets hurry up" and inappropriate remarks about the pet's temperament are reported to have exacerbated a profoundly difficult moment.
Therefore, what is truly worth choosing is the clinic's established capacity for medical care, coupled with a commitment to discussing your specific expectations for sensitive procedures, particularly end-of-life services, with the staff and veterinarian involved. Clients should be proactive in requesting specific protocols or other doctors if the provided feedback raises concerns regarding compassion and communication. The clinic's accessibility and operational capability provide a foundation for care, but the individual experiences shared by the community highlight the critical importance of evaluating the level of personalized, compassionate support alongside the medical expertise.

Webster Shawn Reviews
If I could put ZERO stars on this I would. Please never go to this place. Dr. Shawn Webster is truly one of the worst people ever. I had to put my dog down a few years ago and it was the worst and most traumatizing experience I have ever had. When we got into the room he said "Lets hurry up" like he had other things he would rather be doing. I was a student in high school and he did not explain anything to us. If you have a choice to go to him, choose otherwise. After putting a muzzle on my SWEET puppy that he thought was so mean while putting her down, he made the comment, " I am surprised she did not get snippy with me". Truly the worst day of my life and he made it so much worst. Would not recommend.
