Banfield Pet Hospital Introduce
Caring for a pet in the Phoenix metro area requires access to reliable, comprehensive veterinary services. Banfield Pet Hospital at the North 7th Avenue location in Phoenix, AZ, operates as a dedicated Animal hospital and Veterinarian clinic focused on preventive health care and general medical services for dogs and cats. Recognizing that pets are cherished members of Arizona families, the hospital emphasizes proactive wellness management to keep pets happy and healthy throughout their lives.
The clinic is committed to a broad spectrum of care, ranging from routine essentials like vaccinations and comprehensive exams to more specialized procedures such as general surgery and ultrasonography. Their philosophy centers on making quality veterinary care accessible, which is primarily facilitated through their popular Optimum Wellness Plans (OWPs). These subscription-based packages are designed to help pet owners budget for routine and preventive services, often including unlimited office visits and annual diagnostic tests. For Phoenix residents with diabetic pets, such as one customer's 12-year-old mixed terrier, this continuity of care is vital for managing chronic conditions.
While the OWP is a significant draw, it is important for new and existing clients in Arizona to understand the full scope of their financial obligations and plan coverage. The hospital requires careful attention to detail regarding billing, especially when utilizing coupons or discounts. As one customer noted, being distracted by a kitten’s illness made them overlook a mistakenly charged office visit fee, despite having a coupon. It is strongly recommended that all clients, particularly during stressful illness visits, thoroughly review their receipts and service agreement details before leaving the clinic to ensure all coupons and plan discounts have been applied correctly. Transparency and diligence on the client's part are key to a smooth financial experience.
The Phoenix N location strives to be a welcoming and professional environment for all pet owners. They operate primarily on a scheduled basis, with Appointment required and Appointments recommended, to ensure each pet receives focused, timely care. The staff and veterinarians work to provide individual treatment plans, utilizing diagnostics and imaging to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions, helping local pets live longer, healthier lives in the challenging Arizona climate.
Conveniently situated in North Phoenix, the Banfield Pet Hospital is easily accessible for residents in surrounding neighborhoods and is located inside the local PetSmart store. This integrated placement offers an extra layer of convenience, allowing pet owners to manage veterinary appointments and pick up supplies in a single trip.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1have a new kitten with an illness and I went to Banfield Phoenix N of AZ for the first time since I had a coupon for a free office visit. When the vet tech told me the prices, I told and showed her my coupon and she said she would remove the $73.95 office visit fee. I paid and left. I was most concerned with getting my kitten home and I trusted the vet tech took off the office visit charge since she said she would. There were multiple line items on my bill and I didn't notice until I got home that I was charged for the office visit. When I returned for my kitten's follow up, I explained what happened about the office visit fee. The check in lady, vet tech, and "back office" people refused to give me a credit even though it was their mistake that the charge was not removed when I showed my coupon on my first visit. Another option is that they could not have changed be an office visit fee for my follow up, but they refused to do that as well. If you have a coupon for a free office visit, I recommend you thoroughly review your receipt before leaving, especially if you go for a pet illness. I was so concerned with my kitten's illness/well-being and wanting to get her home, I was distracted from the bill and focused on what the vet tech told me I needed to do with my kitten's prescriptions. I feel Banfield took advantage of this to not honor my coupon and charge me for the office visit knowing I would not closely look at the long list of charges on the receipt when I was leaving Banfield.

September 26 · Debbie BohmontThe service barely covered anything except shots. I hadn't used the service for over a year. Then my cat died and I stopped the service but they kept attempting to charge, a year later they sent me to collections for non payment. Do not recommend
