CnB Reptile Introduce
For enthusiasts of scaly, shelled, and serpentine companions throughout the greater Phoenix area and beyond in Arizona, CnB Reptile is not your average pet store. Nestled in the North Phoenix neighborhood, this establishment transcends the typical reptile shop experience, earning a reputation among the local herpetology community as a true "showroom" or "boutique." This small, family-owned business has dedicated itself to setting a new, higher standard for quality, cleanliness, and personalized customer interaction in the exotic pet trade.
The first thing visitors notice is a striking difference from conventional stores. Gone are the dimly-lit, cramped spaces often associated with reptile shops. CnB Reptile is described as "bright," "white," and immaculately clean. This focus on hygiene and presentation ensures a pleasant and stress-free environment, both for the human customer and, most importantly, for the animals. The "quality-over-quantity approach" means that instead of cowering in dank enclosures, the curious creatures actively come to the front of their habitats to greet company—a clear sign of their health, excellent care, and careful, captive-bred origins.
More than a retail outlet, CnB Reptile embodies a passion for the animals they showcase. The dedication of the owners is apparent in the level of personal service, which includes taking the time to truly introduce customers to the animals. This hands-on, relationship-driven approach, described by one customer as similar to a luxury car dealership, transforms a simple purchase into a meaningful adoption. The core philosophy centers on offering strictly captive-bred animals, a critical commitment for ensuring the health, docility, and ethical sourcing of pets for the Arizona reptile community.
CnB Reptile is conveniently situated in a high-traffic retail area of North Phoenix, making it easily reachable for residents across the Valley. This location allows them to serve a broad community of reptile enthusiasts from Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and the surrounding regions of Maricopa County.
The shop is located at:
- Address: 3222 E Bell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85032, USA
The facility is designed with customer convenience in mind, offering a seamless experience from the moment you arrive. The business is mindful of quick visits and is fully committed to accessibility:
- Accessibility features include a Wheelchair accessible entrance and a Wheelchair accessible parking lot.
- For payment, the store accepts major Credit cards and Debit cards.
Whether you are planning a comprehensive visit to discuss a new animal adoption or just making a quick visit to pick up supplies and feeders, the location and amenities ensure a smooth trip.
As a specialist Reptile store, CnB Reptile’s services are highly focused on the unique needs of the exotic pet keeper. Their offerings go beyond simply selling animals to ensure customers have everything required for successful and long-term pet ownership.
- Captive-Bred Animal Sales: Strict dedication to selling only captive-bred animals, including high-quality Boas (such as Dwarf and Super Dwarf Reticulated Pythons, for which they are an exclusive dealer for Reach Out Reptiles), Pythons, Geckos, and other specialized reptiles.
- Feeder Insect Provision: Stocking essential and affordable live feeder insects, such as roaches (mentioned specifically as affordable for bearded dragons) and other nutrition-critical food sources for various insectivorous reptiles.
- Reptile Supplies and Equipment: Offering a selection of the necessary supplies, terrarium décor, heating elements, and nutritional supplements required to properly set up and maintain a healthy habitat.
- Expert Consultation and Education: The family-owned nature of the business ensures personalized guidance, helping new and experienced keepers choose the right animal and understand its specific care requirements.
- Expos and Community Engagement: The business is known to frequently appear at local expos, demonstrating a strong commitment to the Arizona reptile community and hobbyist culture.
The distinguishing characteristics of CnB Reptile are what have earned them such a high rating and a loyal following among local Arizona customers:
- Unmatched Cleanliness and Aesthetics: The description of the store as "bright," "white," and a "showroom" or "boutique" is a core feature that immediately sets it apart from typical, often grungy, pet shops.
- Quality-Over-Quantity Focus: Instead of stocking large numbers of generic animals, they showcase "the hardest to find little gems out in the pet trade," catering to a discerning clientele seeking rare morphs and high-end specimens.
- Captive-Bred Only Commitment: This ethical choice is a major highlight, as captive-bred animals are typically healthier, better adjusted to handling, and free of the parasites often found in wild-caught specimens, making for a better pet experience.
- Exceptional Customer Service: The owners are noted for their deep passion and willingness to spend time with customers, even "2 minutes before closing," to personally introduce animals and ensure a perfect match, creating a relaxed and welcomed environment.
- The Shop Mascot: Adding to the friendly, family-owned atmosphere is Marshall, the Doberman shop dog, who serves as both a friendly mascot and a unique fixture of the store's character.
- Stress-Reducing Interaction: One review specifically highlights the calming effect of handling one of their baby boas, demonstrating the gentle temperament and positive socialization of the animals they sell.
For anyone in Arizona considering a reptile as a pet, or for established keepers seeking premium animals and supplies, CnB Reptile represents a superior choice for several reasons. The primary draw is the unwavering commitment to captive-bred animals, which dramatically increases the likelihood of a healthy, docile, and long-lived pet. This practice alone saves customers from the potential health issues and high vet bills often associated with wild-caught specimens, proving that the initial investment in a quality animal is indeed "absolutely worth it."
Furthermore, the shopping experience itself is unparalleled in the local reptile trade. The "Porsche lot" comparison speaks volumes about the high standards of animal husbandry and display. Customers never feel "rushed" and consistently leave having found "everything needed," from the rarest of snakes to affordable feeder roaches. In an industry where quality can sometimes be inconsistent, CnB Reptile stands out as a beacon of transparency, professionalism, and genuine passion. For a positive, ethical, and fully supported reptile ownership journey in the Valley, a visit to this Phoenix showroom is highly recommended, making it a "10 out of 10" destination for all exotic pet needs.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Less a pet store, more like a boutique showcasing the hardest to find little gems out in the pet trade, CnB lacks that dimly lighted-grungy-"can't quite identify that smell" feeling I tend to get walking into a reptile shop. Animals cowering in the deep recesses of their dank, depressing cells seemingly seeking salvation are here replaced with curious creatures that come to the front of their enclosures whenever they see company. This is not a store... this is a showroom. This is not a Honda dealership with balloons and wacky waving inflatable arm-flailing tube men... this is a Porsche lot, with a side of Aston Martin, and maybe a couple of Bentleys in back. The place is bright. The place is white. And the cleanliness combined with the quality-over-quantity approach makes one able to breathe in there, and not feel like you just stumbled into some teenager's basement. My attempt to not draw the attention of one of the owners was foiled one December evening when she greeted me warmly upon my first visit, and told me to hold out my hands flat like a platform.Despite my objections, not wanting to get to know some animal right when they're about to close, she puts this 5-month-old baby boa in my hands. The little creature wrapped its vibrant red tail around my wrist, and within 60 seconds the anxiety that had permeated that morning and afternoon had evaporated. I've had pets since 1988... none of them calmed me like that little girl snake. But who buys a boa at 40, right? Midlife crisis is supposed to involve a sports car and frosted tips. But the thing is, I really tried NOT to buy a boa constrictor, really I did. There had to be something smaller. Surely all snakes give you that relaxed and groovy feeling.Nope. I held a bunch. Liked them all. But not a one of them soothed me like that. Like *I was the stress ball or something. I can't think of any other animal capable of hugging. And so, at this Porsche dealership of a reptile shop, I indeed did buy a little something for no other reason than I wanted it -- or maybe it was a need. All because a shop owner took the time to introduce a snake to me 2 minutes before closing for the day. Wow.Family-owned and operated, strictly captive-bred only, AND frequently appearing at expos here locally, CnB is THE reptile showroom for me...and likely will be for you if you take 6 whole minutes and go see for yourself.Side note: there's a shop dog. A Doberman named Marshall. Because why wouldn't a family business have a family dog as both mascot and security guard? Genius.Forget 5 stars...this place is a 10 out of 10.
May 12 · VirionSo awesome. Never felt rushed, I got everything I needed. Roaches are also affordable for my beardie. Wide selection of reptiles. ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT
September 29 · Xeni HayesAmazing place! As a snake owner already walking in and seeing how clean and well set up everything was made me feel trustworthy in them. Down from the smiles you get from walking through those doors to the comfort they bring when trying to find the animal you truly want. I’ve been to several reptile stores and none of them have made me feel comfortable like them. I lost my very first snake to mites from the rats I was getting from their place and I’ve been very sketchy about shops and never had a second doubt with CNB Reptiles! Love them and highly recommend!!
June 17 · Kiersten HerbelThis pet shop is maintained very well. The displays are neat and all the animals look healthy inside. The employees were very passionate and helpful with all questions I had. It’s a nice little shop with everything you’ll need for any critter.
June 29 · Trevor HyattGreat store, fantastic selection. I’ve bought two snakes from them both healthy and good eaters. Store is extremely clean and does not smell like a pet store.
