★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was privileged to share my life with a very special seal point Siamese that recently passed with help from Dr. Julie Baratz. This was by far the most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make. Dr. Baratz was referred by a good friend of mine who recently had to put two of her dogs down. Dr. Baratz was compassionate, understanding knowledgeable and overall one of the best vets that I’ve come in contact with in the valley. I’ve gone through many vets in the past 20 years and have found maybe two out of a couple dozen that I like . Unlike the others, Dr. Baratz truly cares for animals and it shows through in her work. When she arrived, she described the entire process to me and made me feel very comfortable with what needed to be done. There hasn’t been a day that’s gone by that I haven’t missed my sweet little boy, but I know now he’s not hurting or in any pain . Dr. Baratz even made a paw print impression for me as a keepsake. I would highly recommend her as a vet for anybody with a special little fur baby. Thank you again Dr. Julie Baratz for helping Fuzzy & myself get thru that difficult day!
July 12 · Crystal LuchetteWe, sadly, needed to put our little poodle mix down today. It was hard to search, both emotionally and on the internet— we felt he was suffering so much and lingering any further would be traumatic. We found Dr. Bartz at Rainbow Bridge through a recommendation from another vet that could not see us in our home for a few more days. DrJulie Bartz not only responded to our voice mail immediately (although she was, at that moment, in the dentist chair) she was able to schedule a home visit the next morning. She was sweet, careful, understanding and supportive. Although euthanasia for a beloved pet is a difficult choice, she let us know that the decision was the right one. He was suffering so much. Her compassion was comforting.
June 11 · Mark WhitenWe called Dr. Julie as a last resort to help us with our cat who needed to be put down due to renal failure. Dr. Julie was out of her office at the time, but she managed to make time to attend to our emergency and help us with putting our loving cat to sleep. She was very nice and helped us through the processes by providing a lot of much needed advice and soothing conversation. She has one of the hardest jobs, but she does it like a true pro. I would highly recommend Dr. Julie for anyone in a situation where they need to put their pet down in-home.
