★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My 9 year old English Bulldog "Gator" became sick after calling his local vet who agreed to see him the next day, I decided Gator needed to be seen immediately so we went to MedVet. They were the only place open at 11pm. Upon arrival I was quickly greeted and Gator was seen right away. Within a few minutes the tech came out to authorize the necessary procedures and costs which I clarified they could do whatever was.necessary to include CPR. I am not even sure how much time went by as the whole night seems like a blur but the vet came in explaining Gator had a large tumor that was bleeding. I could tell by the look on her face before she even started to explain that even if they removed the tumor, his life expectancy was 1-2 months. This was one of the hardest moments of my life, Gator was my baby..He was my child...From the time he was 8 weeks old, he has been by my side. He traveled to and from Hawaii, countless states and even though I knew he was at the tipping point for his age as bulldog, you can never prepare for this day. The Medvet staff was so kind and caring, and treated this with such sincerity. The front desk young lady offered to give me a hug and when it was time to let him go, it was peaceful and gentle. Nothing like I had imagined. I always thought I would want him to be home when he left, but I am really "glad" things led us to MedVet... They also handled everything else relating to his cremation, urn and making sure his remains were taken care of and returned back home to me...This was a huge sigh of relief because I knew I would need cremation services but it's not anything I planned until that moment. I would definitely recommend MedVet for your pet but even more when it's urgent. RIP Gator March 2015-April 2024
May 04 · B PoulinNeedless to say it was the worse day of our life. We kind a thought we was gonna have to put our Marli down. She was almost 13 and had an enlarged heart for 2 years. Vet kept upper her medication to buy time which I’m very thankful for. But when the Reality was told to us that’s when it hit us like a rock. We took her in for having breathing problems and her lungs had filled up with fluid. Her tongue was turning purple. However, the doctor made everything go so smoothly it didn’t fix our broken heart, but it left us with a little bit of peace, knowing that they actually cared about a dog that they knew for 30 minutes. The whole team from the front door until the time we left with her in a casket I would give 1000 stars if I could they were the best and if you had to ask me, should I go there with my animal 1000% yes go there with your animal. You will not receive any better, emergency care than Med Vet.One last thing before I submit this review, MedVet actually notified our regular vet however, I have nothing nice to say about our regular vet because they were notified That our dog had to be put down and never once gave us a courtesy call for their condolences. Doesn’t care about your animal. They care about what’s in your wallet.
July 01 · Patty UtzI have never had such an amazing, professional, and friendly visit to any vet. The two staff that we encountered and the care that my puppy received was so above and beyond. I could not speak any higher.
August 02 · Abby UebersetzigYes this place is pricey. I will not lie. Still the kindness and courtesy of the staff was incredible. These people care. I saw a tech literally sit down on the floor to make the quite large dog feel more comfortable. She took the temperature and listened to his heart. She was more than caring she was thoughtful to the dog and you will be hard pressed to see that in a veterinary office. They were wonderful with my cat, Yeti and he is doing much better now. Moral of this review is you get what you pay for and here it might be expensive but the care and compassion are well worth it. Thank you MedVet!!
July 10 · Deana BroermanFosterMy granddaughters dog Bandit, had been sick for 2 days. Not eating, only sips of water and was incontinent of urine. We brought him to your facility where he died on arrival. I was surprised he made it that far. The staff was wonderful, the Doctor came and spoke with us. The ancillary staff was so kind, empathetic, patient and allowed us to spend as long as we needed with the beautiful boy. My granddaughter was devastated and we all appreciated such wonderful care. Your facility will definitely be our choice when the regular vet we use, is not available. Once again, thanks to all for such care and kindness. Ruth Ann Ingram and Brittany Ingram.
