★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Hi,I Jaclyn smith ( Jackie ) recommend Moore’s Animal Care Clinic , it is the “ Best “ I mean the “Best “ Vet clinic you will ever find , that Welcomes You & your Animals . The Doctors & Staff are the most kindest & compassionate people I’ve ever met in a vet clinic. They helped me feel at ease & calmed me over my dog “ Jax’s “ having oral mouth ( tongue ) cancer . They talked me through the months Jax’s had left till the very day of his death . Let me just say, it’s sometimes easy to forget that there are nice people out there doing nice things for others , and you just don’t know how much I appreciate Dr. Moore & Madison & the rest of the Staff, I am so grateful that they took great care of Jax’s & me as well for I have ptsd, anxiety & adhd , so I let them know at the beginning when I met them , so they would know , that he was my companion ( my emotional supporter ) . They helped me through the most hardest death ever. Thank you so much Dr. Moore & staff !
July 15 · Jackie SmithAll of the staff at Moore's showed our pet and our family a tremendous amount of kindness and compassion. I cannot express how thankful we are for these wonderful people. There is no place else I would trust with the care of my pets.
October 03 · Erin Woodward-SparkmanWe had a15 year old dog who was struggling in her old age. We took her to Moore's animal care clinic, and Benny ran a test and told us she was having kidney failure. He kept her over the weekend to flush her kidneys and see if she would improve. Ultimately, she was not going to get any better. They were so compassionate as we made the decision to put her down. I was super impressed with the entire environment at the clinic. All of the employees were excellent to work with. Even the the customers, and there are a lot of them, expressed compassion and it was such a pleasant place to be at such a difficult time.
July 08 · Thomas ScifresWalked in and waited for the lady at front desk, she seemed completely uninterested in what I was telling her. I tried to get medicine for a cat (have an account) and they refused even though we've gotten the same medicine from them before. it was a repeated infection and she needed another dose. They refused us medicine and when I brought up that we get medicine and pills for our animals there semi regularly without bringing them in, she got a very bad attitude with me and was extremely rude. Also brought in a pet bird of mine a few years back they said they could look at for me, they were super rough with him and we left with no diagnoses (they had no knowledge of birds) I will definitely not be returning.
September 25 · RawrWe had to put our 13yo shepherd down today. We took her to Moore’s because the $257.00 fee just to put her to sleep nothing else was the cheapest around. This in and of itself is ridiculous. Vets shouldn’t be allowed to charge so much for two injections. This situation is bad enough and now we have to decided if we can afford to release her from her pain.I do want to say the reception staff were very nice and considerate when I called to make the appointment. However we had to wait 30 minutes just to get called back. The day was hard enough but having to sit in the waiting room with all the other pet owners was really hard. I feel they could have at least put us back into a room to wait. Then the older doctor brings us back and just sneaks up behind our dog and stabs her in the butt with a sedative. She jumps away and yelped causing the needle to come out and he had to rehab it in. Not only have I volunteered at a vet but I’ve given my dogs their yearly boosters so I know that is not the proper way to give a dog an injection. Then we waited for the sedative to take effect just spending our last few minutes with our girl and a nurse came in for payment. I feel that should have been handled at check in before they brought us back. She was very nice and sympathetic but it was just another irritant to the day. THEN the older doctor comes back in shaves her leg for the medicine and misses her vein and forcibly with the palm of his hand jamming the needle into her leg. This man missed the vein 6-7 times to the point that it woke her up out of her sedation and we ended up having to hold her down. Instead of our girls falling peacefully asleep in our laps she left this world scared and in pain. This vet should not still be in business he needs to retire. I’ve had to put two other dogs down of old age in my life so I thought I was prepared but this was the most traumatizing experience I’ve had in a vet in my life.
