★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I want to start by saying the veterinarian was incredibly kind and professional as always, and I really appreciated her gentle approach with Karma. That said, my experience at the front desk was deeply disappointing. The receptionist Abby, was rude and dismissive, and what truly crossed the line was her calling Karma a “bad dog”—completely uncalled for and unprofessional.Yes, Karma barked in the back room. She was scared. That doesn't make her a bad dog, and frankly, no one who works in an animal care environment should be making those kinds of comments. If you're concerned she might bite, that’s understandable—but communicate that respectfully. I even offered to show her mouth myself. As everyone there knows, this is not a routine checkup - this is end of life care. All I said was that it would’ve made more sense to just have a conversation over the photo of her mouth, instead of having to bring her in and pay a fee when no exam was done and she wasn’t even touched. It felt like a waste of time and money, and instead of empathy or explanation, I got attitude.I expected more compassion and communication, especially from the front desk—they're the first impression, and this one left a bad taste. I’ll think twice before coming back unless that changes.
May 15 · Amy NewkirkThis team did incredible job with our cat’s rabies vaccine. Their patience, expertise, and grit was seriously impressive. Benny’s not easy!- but they found a way to get it done. 10/10
May 29 · EVERETT SCHUSTERDr. Medka and team are phenomenal. My young pup is a frequent flyer due to allergies, but we have been able to significantly lessen them. Dr. Medka and her techs are friendly, patient, and caring of your dog and your budget. I also have an adult dog who is usually stressed at the vet and they do great with cooperative care. The best vet ever!!
March 28 · Faith ChitkaraWe are new-ish to Covington and needed to find a vet for our newly adopted puppy. This Vet Clinic called me back same day, and managed to fit me in the same week despite being booked 2 weeks out because we needed updated shots. Service was quick, our baby came out smiling, and our bill was $200 under quote. If you live in Covington then this is your spot.
June 11 · John CortezHave seen Dr. Libby Metka now several times in the past year with my beloved 14 yo dog Jack. She is without a doubt the most caring and consummate professional I could hope to have caring for my furry family. She has both the knowledge and compassion to be great at what she does; few of us in life are so well-suited to use our gifts in the service of others.
