★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I just want to say that the staff at this vet are very caring and passionate. The doctor that took care of my one year old kitten on 8/10/2025 was amazing and compassionate. I unfortunately didn't receive the news I wanted and Loki has crossed the rainbow bridge. I won't say the doctor's name for privacy, but thank you for giving Loki a chance. I miss him so much, but I know he's no longer in any pain or discomfort.I edit my original review to fix some spelling mistakes and lost the wonderful reply from the vet, so I'm posting it again. The staff here really care about you and your pet. I highly recommend them to anyone.
August 13 · Michael TroncaThe staff was amazing. My dog was bitten by a rattlesnake, and spent 24 hours in the hospital. The staff was kind and compassionate to me, while making treatment decisions and discussing costs. I called several times for updates, and the staff took the extra time out of their busy night to speak to me and give updates. They saved my dog’s life.
August 23 · Kelly HokeMy sweet boy was in the ICU here for 4 nights. I had no doubt in my mind that this was the best place for him. They don’t give random things that aren’t needed, while also taking the steps needed to insure that he got better. They answered any questions and were very thorough in explaining all of his possible outcomes and what they were doing to help him get better. They let me call anytime throughout the night for an update (seriously, I called at 12:30am and got an in-depth update), as well as calling twice a day with updates. I was able to go visit every afternoon and get unlimited time, unbothered with him. I highly recommend this emergency vet to anyone looking for top quality care for their babies.
May 14 · Korryn Van EmmerikWe are so grateful for the care our puppy received here. He was not doing well when we brought him in, but the staff was attentive, professional, and incredibly kind. They reassured us during a very difficult time and took excellent care of our boy. One thing that really stood out was their integrity, we had put down money for his care, and they refunded everything that wasn’t used. That kind of honesty is rare and so appreciated. Best of all, our puppy was wagging his tail at his caretakers, which told us everything we needed to know: they treated him with real compassion. Highly recommend this clinic!
August 20 · Charlotte HervasThe circumstances surrounding bringing your beloved four legged family member to an emergency hospital are never easy. We have visited a few different vet emergency rooms/hospitals over the last decade of caring for our family of 4 fur babies (hypochondriac momma here). But I have to say, this hospital and the caring staff really stood out amongst the rest. Even though it was shift change and a few minor things were delayed with communication, every tech and Veterinarian we encountered provided thorough examinations and education. As well as, a palpable compassion for their work, our sweet dobie girl, and her health. It’s understood that emergency clinics operate via a critical care triage system, but the staff at AVECCC did not make us feel any less important or a lesser priority. We did not come in believing there were imminent life threatening issues, but any visit after hours provokes anxiety over the complexities that could be present. The staff did a phenomenal job of providing a private room and assessing her shortly after we arrived. They provided a concise clinical and symptom based intervention plan. We did not feel rushed or pushed to do any testing we weren’t comfortable with. We agreed on a treatment plan that best fit our girl, and we feel that our needs were met in a thorough and supportive manner. We were also encouraged to follow up with them or our primary veterinarian for further evaluation to complete her care.As difficult as it was to see her in pain, it was reassuring to know that she was in good loving hands. She was happy to meet the providers, as was evident by her plopping her 85lb behind on the veterinarian’s lap. Thank you for making her feel at home!Thank you ALL for your knowledgeable and compassionate care!!!
