★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It was my first time taking my cat to get checked and having a first time vet appointment. The staff was super welcoming and understanding! So much education and assurance that I was in good hands and my cat is on the right track to being an overall healthy kiddo❤️ An amazing quality experience that deserves more than 5 stars! Thank you so much team!
October 02 · Markel TovesWent in last week when my dog was under the weather. The vet tech warned me that the vet would probably want to do blood work and test for pancreatitis. Something they’ve never suggested when I’ve brought my dog in for diarrhea before. I thought surely after the vet looked at her he would decide that wasn’t necessary.Nope. Not even 5 minutes later he calls and says he NEEDS to run blood work and pancreatitis test ($300+). Mind you, her only symptom that matched pancreatitis was diarrhea.Declined and took her to a different Banfield location the next day who didn’t want to run any tests or even give her medication because she seemed totally ok. After a few days of a bland diet she was back to normal! Seems suspicious too me. Lucky we didn’t fall for it.We do like Banfield and the wellness plan and the convenience of what they offer but this is your warning to be careful before accepting any test the vet throws at you.
October 07 · Ali UlrichAdmin staff is very friendly and the most helpful here. Vet staff keeps changing, and every time I go in I’m being sold on something new, which makes it really hard to decipher what is the appropriate care for my dog vs something not needed. My dog had an emergency injury, and the vet recommended a very invasive procedure to fix it, costing thousands and having a very painful recovery for my dog. The admin staff pulled me aside and recommended another vet to go to. I’m glad I did because they fixed him up with a much less invasive procedure and saved me $3k. That’s only one example of the many frivolous things they have tried to upsell me on. I can’t trust them and will be switching vets.
September 15 · Daniel CocceAll stafftreat Ruby with the best care and I appreciate it. She had a rough life starting out and I want her to have the best care.
September 10 · Debbie HeydornSales office disguised as a vet clinic. Upsells at every turn and overpriced services. Do yourself a favor and find a privately owned clinic instead of a corporate chain like this one. The vet tech who checked us in spent the vast majority of the time he was in the room pitching their prepaid plan and didn’t do anything for our dog besides taking a weight. The ease of scheduling online is what sucked me in, but I urge you to go somewhere else even if it requires a phone call to schedule.Despite all of that, the vet was very kind and addressed all of our questions and it does seem like there are some employees who genuinely care about pets, so I can’t give them one star.
