★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I spoke with this clinic a week ahead of time to get bandages changes on a cast with a full medical write up from the emergency vet. This vet had seen my dog a week prior and conducted a consultation with the normal fee. I explained my situation that i was on a very tight time frame due to out of state obligations. They then chose to charge me $100 to put the dog on a scale and tell me to come back another day then quoted me the same price as the emergency vet to change bandages. This clinic is unprofessional and overpriced. They lack the professional experience to handle real veterinarian work and have 0 respect for other peoples time. I now have to take my dog to the emergency vet after paying this clinic $100 to have a bandage changed that was scheduled a week ago. Beware of doing business here.
October 08 · Mark KellyNew Castle Animal Hospital has been my cat’s doctor since she was a kitten. They do a great job with my cat’s medical need. Also, they trim my cat’s nails, as I was tired of chasing after my cat and getting fur all over me trying to clip her nails. I’m older, what can you say? Anyway, they easily and quickly clip her nails. The last time I brought my cat in, the office called a few days later to see how my cat was doing. I greatly appreciated this. I don’t plan on going anywhere else for my veterinarian needs.
December 03 · Vance Eric Donahue$1K surgery for our dog. Had to take him back 30 days later because he was infected. $200 and more antibiotics.45 days after this we had to take him to 24hr vet ($950 more) in Indianapolis who told us the stitches for sure and possibly something is left inside of our dog keeping him infected.Never had a good experience here and never will because we will not be back.
September 21 · Michael PollittToday we took our 3 yr old to get her shots and it was such a GREAT experience! This was our first visit; but there will definitely be more. The staff were so nice and helpful... and the doctor was amazing!! They all did everything to make her feel so comfortable (our pup is scared of her own shadow). Thank you so much for your care and treatment of our girl! 😁
January 27 · Darren GreenUpdate 10/8/24: Returned for a check on a little feral kitty, then to have my little girl kitty vacc & spayed. Did well with her surgery, her incision site is clean & healing nicely. Sent her home with pain meds that she actually seemed to like taking. She is busy playing now. Happy girl. Thanks!! ♡Being an ex customer of country acres and not being fully satisfied with treatment by the older Dr there, we decided to bring my Daughters kitty here. They took him in right away, checked him out and gave him some meds. He recovered right away. It was a great experience to receive proper care without a Dr being rude and pushy. We were so happy with the service, that I am taking my kitty in for care. I think we have found our Vet ♡Update: Winter went in for her first appt. She purred the whole time. Cat-approved
