Veterinary Emergency Group Introduce
For pet owners across the entire Arizona region, especially those in the East Valley, knowing where to turn during a pet emergency is crucial. The Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) in Chandler provides a vital resource, operating as a full-service, 24/7 emergency veterinarian service and animal hospital. When the unexpected happens—whether it's a late-night injury, sudden illness, or concerning signs of pain—VEG is designed to offer immediate, high-quality critical care without the need for an appointment.

The hospital's model emphasizes not just the pet's well-being, but also the peace of mind of the pet owner, a philosophy that sets it apart in the Arizona veterinary landscape.

One client, whose dog required immediate life-saving care, described the experience as "amazing," noting the staff’s kindness, compassion, and the reassurance provided while the owner remained present during the crisis.
The facility is equipped to handle a comprehensive range of emergencies, and its scope extends beyond just dogs and cats. Recognizing the diverse pet population in Arizona, VEG includes specialized care for exotic animals among its services. This commitment to all creatures, from tails to scales, ensures that owners of non-traditional pets—be it a reptile, bird, or small mammal—have a reliable place to seek emergency attention when their regular veterinarian is unavailable.
Furthermore, the hospital ensures an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of the community. It is recognized as LGBTQ+ friendly and a transgender safespace, demonstrating a commitment to respectful and compassionate service for every Arizona pet owner during their most anxious moments.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The staff at VEG is so compassionate and understanding and were able to quickly provide Hazel the care she needed. We have had to take our little Hazel in twice now, and both times the staff were incredibly empathetic and helped calm both us and our fur baby down. We were able to stay with Hazel during all stages of the care process which really helped her remain calm. I could not recommend a better emergency vet in case you may need to take in your pets. Thank you to the amazing staff at VEG!
October 03 · Chamile DiazWow. Cant even begin to explain the amazing experience we had on 9/30. Wait time was 0 minutes and they were busy. My dog wasn't breathing and they assessed and got started right away. They saved her life and they did it with kindness and compassion and I was able to be there the entire time although it was scary they were so reassuring the entire time and I am so grateful for them. Andrew Jackie and Agia deserve a raise and everything the world has to offer. 🩵
October 02 · Sierra CollinsOur dog got tangled on a fishing pole and got a hook stuck in her lip. We called VEG and they said bring her right in. We were met at the door, immediately brought into the treatment area (which looks like an ER for people) but for pets. Staff was amazing everything from techs to docs. The doctor evaluated the situation and in minutes provided a treatment plan that was completely affordable. Once approved they had our little pup in surgery. We got to observe the entire procedure. They were absolutely amazing. Within 2 hours we were back home with our pup and she is happy and healthy! Thank you to the VEG team. You all are amazing!! Jeff, Crystal & Skye 🐾
May 29 · Jeff YountWhat an amazing place! In a time of stress during an emergency, the techs and vets were calm and knowledgeable. They got us in and out relatively quickly and kept our spirits high. We even got to stay with our puppy while he got treated. Will recommend to everyone I know! Thank you guys for helping Winston!
September 28 · Kayla CanfieldVEG has saved both of my kitties lives on separate occasions. Dr Thompson, Berdy, Schultz, and all of the other staff are so compassionate and dedicated to their pet patients and humans. No one ever wants to end up at an ER with their fur baby but if it is unavoidable, I can’t recommend this place enough and I cannot thank VEG enough for saving my babies lives. We brought Wyatt in with tears and panic after he was unrecognizable and yelping in pain. We walked out with a healthy boy who was eating, drinking, and using the bathroom again like a champ! They even had no problem with us bringing in his sister for a much needed visit during his overnight stay❤️
