I would highly recommend Dr. Jarvis and AZ Veterinary Physical Rehabilitation. It's been a roller coaster of emotions to find out my dog has not only IVDD, but also hip dysplasia. I had no clue what to do to support him. I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Jarvis and have her evaluate Blue. She gave me so much great information and really helped me see how he was compensating for his injuries and pain. I am able to be more in-tune with his needs, and as we have been able to incorporate a bit more exercise into his routine, I know what to keep my eyes on the lookout for. Dr. Jarvis was so great with Blue - he loved his sessions and was happy that she had such great treats. I am so thankful to have been referred to Dr. Jarvis! - Debra Bonson

Arizona Veterinary Physical Rehabilitation Introduce

For dedicated dog owners across the Arizona region, especially those whose companions face mobility challenges, are recovering from surgery, or are competing in canine sports, specialized care beyond routine

Veterinarian

visits is often essential.

Arizona Veterinary Physical Rehabilitation

, located in Glendale, AZ, and led by the highly regarded Dr. Sonnet Jarvis, DVM, CCRT (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist), offers a precise and compassionate focus on restoring movement, reducing pain, and enhancing the overall quality of life for dogs. It functions as a specialized center, combining expertise from multiple fields, including

This facility is not a general practice vet clinic; rather, it is a dedicated

This specialized approach is particularly vital for conditions prevalent in Arizona's active dog population and those with common orthopedic issues. Whether it is a dog managing the chronic pain of

, an athlete needing

Testimonials from local users reflect the profound impact of this targeted care. One owner, dealing with the complexity of a dog diagnosed with both IVDD and

Hip Dysplasia

, expressed immense gratitude for the clear information and emotional support provided by Dr. Jarvis, noting her dog "loved his sessions." Another, whose French bulldog underwent

CCL repair surgery

, described Dr. Jarvis as "incredibly knowledgeable and passionate," emphasizing the personalized rehabilitation plan that led to "amazing progress." This level of expertise and compassionate care is what sets a specialized practice like

Arizona Veterinary Physical Rehabilitation

apart, helping pets achieve a level of recovery and comfort that might not be possible with standard post-operative rest alone.

The clinic’s philosophy revolves around treating the whole animal. Dr. Jarvis, a licensed

Veterinarian

and a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT), brings a background in human fitness and exercise to her canine practice. This comprehensive background allows her to develop tailored

Custom Workout Plan

and

Home Exercise Program

components, empowering owners to be active participants in their pet's long-term healing and wellness journey. By blending traditional veterinary medicine with advanced physical modalities, they are uniquely positioned to address complex mobility and pain issues for senior animals, working dogs, and family pets alike throughout the Glendale and surrounding Phoenix metropolitan area.
