Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce
For pet owners across the Arizona region, maintaining routine preventative care for dogs and cats is essential, but the costs associated with annual wellness visits can quickly add up.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic
at the Petco in Glendale, AZ, provides a tailored solution by focusing exclusively on the most critical preventative services at competitive, transparent prices. Acting as an accessibleVeterinarian
service, Vetco is designed to make core health measures, such asVaccinations
andPest & Parasite Prevention & Testing
, convenient and affordable for the local community.Unlike full-service veterinary hospitals that include diagnostic testing, surgeries, and emergency care, Vetco’s model is streamlined. This focus on express care allows them to typically eliminate the traditional veterinary "exam fee" associated with routine visits, meaning you only pay for the services your pet receives. This can result in significant savings, especially for Arizona residents managing the care of multiple pets or seeking specific vaccinations required for activities like pet boarding, as noted by one satisfied customer who specifically chose Vetco for a rabies shot to save money.
While convenience and cost-savings are major draws, the experience at a dedicated clinic setting can differ from a private practice. Vetco operates on an
Appointment required
basis, which is a key part of their planning to manage the flow of pets and owners for theirOnsite services
. However, some clients have reported that despite having an appointment, wait times can sometimes be longer than the advertised five minutes, as the clinics can become very busy. One reviewer mentioned waiting in a "long line" even with a reservation, though they noted the staff was very nice, and they enjoyed the social aspect of meeting other pets and owners while waiting. The unique setting within a large pet retail store also introduces a specific environment. While generally positive, some pets may find the setting busy or stimulating. For instance, one strong negative review described an experience where a dog reacted poorly to being handled by a stranger in a potentially stressful environment, resulting in the pet being labeled a "biter." This highlights the need for owners of nervous or reactive pets to take extra precautions, though the clinic environment is typically designed for quick, minimally stressful interactions centered around necessary injections and testing. Overall, Vetco remains a go-to choice for targeted, routine wellness needs across the Glendale and greater Arizona area.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Don't even deserve a 1 star. You have labeled my dog as a biter. Well how would you like a stranger to poke your butt? All mollie did was turn around and the dr freaked outOur dogs are very good.Petco has lost my business!!!
October 11 · Valerie PeleI took my cat for a rabies shot, because that is the only vax he needs right now in order to go to boarding. The vet's office charges too much for just a vaccine, so I took him here. The staff was very nice, especially the man who checked us in. The only thing is that I wonder what is the purpose of making an appointment when you have to wait in a long line. They advertise that appointments should last about 5 minutes, but that is not really the case. We didn't have anything else to do anyway and enjoyed talking with the other people who were waiting in line with their pets. We also got to pet a lot of friendly dogs, so that was an extra bonus!!!
September 14 · Mary Beth RBrought my cat in for a vaccination and warned the staff several times that he is extremely nervous and had used the bathroom in my car. I tried to calm my cat down as I have brought him to a few vets and never had issues. The vet tech then grabbed my cat by the throat for hissing and proceeded to throw him into his cat carrier. When he scratched her she refused to do anything more and reported him to Maricopa county for isolation and possible death. My cat might be put down because of one vet tech that has no place in that line of work. WE REQUESTED SEDATION. He lost a lot of his hair from stress and was panting like I’ve never seen before. They traumatized my cat. Not to mention her yelling at us afterwards. Completely Unacceptable!Edit: When we got home we found out that the tech had grabbed our cat so hard that she drew blood at his nape. This is beyond negligence, this is incompetence. We will be contacting Maricopa county as well as a malpractice lawyer.
June 12 · Avery TaylorThe personnel were friendly and the vet explained the purpose of the shot and what to look for in case our dogs had a reaction.
August 01 · JanEllen MacDid not explain the services well. Prices did not match the expected prices with discount card from Az licensing dept. Employees did not seem professional.
