BluePearl Pet Hospital Introduce
For pet owners in the Arizona region, particularly those in the Northwest Phoenix, Peoria, and Glendale areas,
BluePearl Pet Hospital
is a critical resource for unexpected and life-threatening situations. Operating as a dedicated24 Hour Emergency Vet
andAnimal Hospital
, this facility is designed to provide immediate, high-level medical care for dogs and cats around the clock, every day of the year. When your primary veterinarian's office is closed, or when an emergency strikes, BluePearl steps in to offer specializedEmergency Medicine
andEmergency Care
.The core of this facility's service is its readiness to handle sudden illnesses, accidents, and critical situations that demand immediate intervention, including
Veterinary Surgery
and intensive care. They are the essential stop forAfter-Hours Vet
care, ensuring that expert help is available when seconds count. For instance, one client praised the hospital for their quick and attentive care during a crisis, noting that the staff and doctor provided excellent medication and worked efficiently to manage the patient's discharge, even when a "critical patient came in" right before they were leaving. This demonstrates the hospital's priority for stabilizing and treating the most severe cases first. However, potential users should be aware that, like many specialty and
Emergency Veterinarian Service
providers, the cost of care is a frequently discussed topic in customer feedback, with some expressing significant concerns. One detailed review painted a negative experience, describing the fees as very high and alleging pressure to commit to expensive initial packages, such as $700 or $1200 for diagnostics including X-rays and labs, before a full examination. This pet owner felt "taken advantage of" due to the24 Hour Emergency Vet
nature of the service, particularly regarding transparency on costs and a perceived lack of follow-up care after a tragic outcome. Another common criticism revolves around patient separation and wait times, even in urgent care settings, which can lead to frustration and a feeling of being disconnected from thePet Care
process. It is important for Arizona pet owners to understand the context of emergency veterinary pricing; the cost reflects the immediate availability of specialized vets, technicians, advanced diagnostic equipment (like X-ray imaging and lab testing), and the ability to perform complex, unscheduled
Veterinary Surgery
at any hour, which is substantially different from routine primary care. While the high cost is a reality of emergency and specialty medicine across the industry, clients are advised to prepare for a significant financial commitment and to ask detailed questions about the treatment plan and associated costs upfront.BluePearl Pet Hospital's location in Glendale, AZ, is strategically positioned to serve the major suburban communities of the Northwest Valley, making it a reliable destination for emergency situations.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We were very appreciative of their care of our baby. The Doc issued good meds, to keep us going for our cross-country trip and the staff was attentive - and tried to get us in and out as fast as possible. Right before we were discharged- another critical patient came in, the staff was good at keeping us informed what was going on and how much longer it would be until they could get us out of there. I appreciated that!
October 08 · Tawnya Horton$$$$$ Wow 👎. They take advantage of being open 24hrs. They took my 7lb Chihuahua into the back without me. And right away said that it would cost either $700 or $1200. To have her looked at. One price included xrays and labs. The other only included only xrays.I paid the $1200 because no one else was open. Then after xrays where done, said that I declined the full blood lab panel. Which I couldn’t prove otherwise because they refused to give me a copy of the original documents that they made me sign. They couldn’t tell anything see anything conclusive on the xrays, but then needed another test with an ultrasound… for additional cost of course.Almost 3hrs in the office, separated from my dog the whole time.Totally unprofessional. Inhumane. Gaslighting bullshitters. I’ll never go back. One MA slammed the door walking out when I said I wanted to see my dog. I don’t recommend. My babygirl chihuahua ended up dying later that day and I believe they knew the entire time I was there and just wanted to get as much money from me as possible. Oh and there was no follow up call either.
October 07 · Carifaye AllredA scary rattlesnake bite to my beautiful Golden retriever late Wednesday night had me frantically rushing to Blue Pearl. Everyone was wonderful even the security guard at the door. They had my baby all fixed up and he was home the next day. Very comforting, genuine and knowledgeable staff. Thank you to Blue Pearl !
September 12 · Dawn Mueller-StaceyOur Sheldon became very sick overnight and we had to make the incredibly hard decision to euthanize her as she had multiple issues going on and was 12 years old. Everyone at Pearl, from the security guard, to the front desk, to the technicians and especially Dr McAdam. She was very patient with us, explained everything in detail so that we would understand and was incredibly sensitive to our needs. We simply can’t thank you all enough!
September 23 · Kathy LudbanThis place was so awful over the phone, I can’t tell you how they were because I refuse to take my baby there! Edie was asked a simple question and her entire tone and demeanor changed - totally put out to do her actual job. This has been one of the longest weeks of my life and the last thing I need is to put my pet in care of someone who behaves like that. She quickly out someone else on the phone who couldn’t answer how much a catheter cost which is funny because I have that information from 3 other places! Shady!!! No worries though, I’ll go literally anywhere else.
