You should be so proud of how you raise ur babies. Auggie is the sweetest most kindest lil girl. Our most sweetest bird!! She hasn’t tried to bite us once!! Took me forever to train our other birds not too. She still HASNT even tried to bite us!! We got her over a Month ago! We are shocked. Training is slow but she’s finally starting to communicate to us and has the most adorable ways of doing so. She’s getting so much better with her flying. We are all so protective of her. She's eating her veggies so well and loves apple! 🍎 I feel lettuce and broccoli are her fave though. I see her eating it the most.Yoshi is beyond smitten with her and she has touched every one of our hearts.I truly feel every single person that wants to adopt a Quaker Parrot should do so through you. I don’t know what you do that is so different but I wish every breeder followed your steps exactly. I have never owned or know anyone that has owned a Quaker that doesn’t bite. It’s unbelievable. It is so hard to find good healthy pellets that don’t smell awful and that the birds immediately eat. Your Dr D’s pellets are loved by every single bird we own. You have blessed us more than you can imagine. Also, even Yoshi (our Male Quaker) is different lately. You have made him happier than he has ever been and makes me wish we got him a companion sooner. We just didn't realize how easy it would be to acclimate them together.I want to thank you so so very much and you truly have no idea how much we appreciate you and how you raise your baby birdies. I do hope this review reaches so many so they can also adopt one of your outstanding lil baby Quakers.Lil Augustina (Auggie) is so silly and happy and playful. Yoshi has built Auggie her very own house where she feels the most safe and secure. They enjoy playing and goofing with each other so much more than I thought they would. Auggies sweet lil voice is so different than Yoshis and boy does she like to talk and tell stories. I could listen to her all day! The cute noises she makes just makes ALL of us melt and adore her. She's Miss Independent currently but loves to be given some love at least once or twice a day as well. Auggie is such an insane and amazing addition to our family and beyond exceeded any expectations we may have had by adding a companion for Yoshi to our flock. We couldn't be more than ecstatic having her here with us. She is unbelievably loved by ALL of us and have touched our hearts in so many ways.Thank you SOOO very much for being you and doing everything you do for the babies of your loving sweet birdies. I truly hope this helps show my insane gratitude and appreciation for allowing us to adopt our sweet and adorable little baby girl. You have helped make our lives so much more brighter and happier and our flock is now complete.I am attaching pictures of her and Yoshi may be in some. He’s the darker blue/teal/grey bird. Auggie is a blue crystalline and is beyond gorgeous and perfect. I am doing everything in my power to try and have her talk/mimic. We got her as young as we could so I am very hopeful!! 🤞🏼 🙏🏼.We built aviaries for our Quakers and Conures. They are 8ft L x 6ft H x 4ft W. They have plenty of room to enjoy as well as me letting them out to get exercise and take baths as well. We feed ALL our parrots a mixture of fresh lettuce, broccoli, carrots, cucumber and apple daily. Nothing is frozen as it takes some nutrients away. We add unflavored or coconut flavor pedialyte as well as a small calcium supplement to their water at all times. Living in Arizona is problematic if you’re not careful. Calcium is just in case and is just a small boost. There is absolutely nothing I can negatively say about this breeder. The folder of all Auggies documentation as well as a TON of amazing and helpful Information was also included by this breeder. She goes over and beyond of any breeder I know and may consider adding another pair of her Quakers to our flock in the future. Would just need to add an additional Aviary in our nook. Desert Rose Aviary Introduce

For bird enthusiasts across Arizona, finding a Pet Store and Bird Shop that specializes in raising exceptional, hand-tamed companion birds is a true blessing. Desert Rose Aviary, located in Goodyear, AZ, is renowned among local bird owners, particularly for its Quaker Parrots. This is not a typical large-scale pet store; it is a dedicated, women-owned small business where the focus is on the health, temperament, and socialization of their birds, often referred to as "babies" by the owner and adoptive families.

The aviary has established a remarkable reputation for the quality of the birds they raise. Customers consistently express shock and delight over the gentle, non-biting nature of the parrots. For example, one adopter of a Quaker Parrot named Auggie noted, "She hasn’t tried to bite us once!!... I don’t know what you do that is so different but I wish every breeder followed your steps exactly. I have never owned or know anyone that has owned a Quaker that doesn’t bite. It’s unbelievable." This exceptional temperament is a clear testament to the unique care and extensive socialization practices employed by the aviary.

Beyond the adoption of sweet-natured companion birds, Desert Rose Aviary also serves as a source for high-quality avian products. One of their highlighted offerings is the Dr D’s pellets, which are praised by experienced bird owners for being "healthy pellets that don’t smell awful and that the birds immediately eat." The business operates with a deep sense of commitment and passion, going "over and beyond" to provide adopters with comprehensive support, including a "folder of all Auggies documentation as well as a TON of amazing and helpful Information."

The mission of this specialist bird shop extends beyond a mere transaction. It is about enriching the lives of Arizona families by adding a joyful and well-adjusted companion, as perfectly illustrated by the story of Auggie, who is described as "so silly and happy and playful" and a perfect companion for their other bird, Yoshi, making their flock "complete." The operation is a true labor of love, reflected in the superior quality and affectionate nature of every bird they rehome.
