Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital Introduce
For pet owners in Tempe and the surrounding Arizona communities, ensuring the health and wellness of beloved companions requires access to dependable, comprehensive veterinary care. Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital, located in the heart of Tempe, presents itself as a full-service animal hospital and veterinary clinic dedicated to providing a wide spectrum of care options for dogs and cats. From routine preventative medicine to managing complex health issues, the facility is designed to be a central resource for pet parents focused on long-term wellness.
The philosophy at this Vetco Total Care location, as evidenced by positive customer feedback, appears centered on a compassionate approach to patient and client interactions. Many pet owners, like the one who praised Dr. Kirk for her kindness and understanding during a stressful time, appreciate the empathy extended not only to the pet but also to the human parent. This is especially vital in veterinary medicine, where financial and emotional concerns often intersect. The hospital is noted for attempting to work within budget restrictions to make necessary care accessible, a crucial factor for many Arizona families.
It is important for prospective clients to understand that, as with any clinic, experiences can vary based on the specific services required and the temperament of the pet. While some customers highlight exceptional and attentive care, others, particularly those with larger, more challenging breeds during high-stress procedures like vaccinations, have voiced concerns regarding staff confidence in handling difficult cases without sedation. Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital is a full-service option, meaning they handle both routine procedures and more complex medical and surgical needs, requiring appointments which are highly recommended for efficient service delivery.
The Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital is strategically situated to serve the high-density residential and commercial areas of Tempe, Arizona, making it a convenient option for many pet owners in the East Valley. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Vetco is completely amateur and should not be handling dogs, especially bigger breeds like Rottweilers. If you want real professionals who can give vaccines safely and confidently, go to PetWell Clinic in Ahwatukee. They are experienced, reasonably priced, and actually know how to work with dogs of all sizes. Our Rottie was fully muzzled and growling (a completely normal reaction during shots), yet Vetco’s staff seemed intimidated by his size and refused to finish his vaccines, suggesting sedation elsewhere. This is incompetence at its finest. They were polite in conversation, and we were able to book online and were seen quickly, so they earned their one extra star for that but they are not capable of doing their job. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that knows what they’re doing.
October 04 · Joyce GoldenDr. Kirk has been absolutely wonderful. Ronald came in with some constipation and she was nothing but kind, sympathetic and understanding about all of my worries. There was another veterinarian who said she came in from another store as well as another vet tech, who I unfortunately didn't get the names of, but who were just as amazing. While we were waiting on Ronald to make some progress in the litter box, there was an emergency pet who came in. It's very clear Dr. Kirk and all who work at this location cares very deeply about the patients and pet parents who come in. They regularly make sure not only the pets are okay, but the humans as well.I am also fairly low income and came in with restrictions around budget, and they did their best to make it as affordable as could be. At the end of the day, supplies and resources (as well as people) need to be compensated for, but I truly feel Ronald and I recieved genuinely amazing treatment here.
May 04 · Anasazi WhitneyI took in a 5 week old kitten with diarrhea, they said they only see pets that are over 6 weeks and healthy, they couldn't do anything for me. They only do shots and vaccinations.... Something that would have been nice to know when I scheduled online. The store gets 2 stars for friendly staff, good products, and clean building.
November 16 · Nissa StewartWorst customer service ever. Literally Would NOT give me(or company requesting it to fill meds) my dogs prescription even though it is valid. They messed up approvals. Literally told me I had to bring my dog back into be Re-examined to have the company requesting the RX to get access to my dogs Rx...even though Everything is Up to Date! Scam in my opinion.
March 23 · Victoria JaneRude staff although Vet knew his stuff. Treated like a third class citizen, I will not be back. I understand you are busy and give 4 minutes for each appointment but why schedule like that to be so snappy and short with customers? Ever thought about adding a couple minutes to each appointment to treat people with a little more respect? I don’t care if the vaccines were $1 each, I would never return.
