★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We want to thank Dr. Hunt for taking great care of our pup "Oliver". Oliver was being seen by another vet for his bladder stones but there was no sense of urgency on treating him correctly. Oliver became very ill and we took him to his vet and were advised we need to rush him to the emergency room which we did. At the emergency room they ran test and determined his urethra had become blocked and required emergency surgery. When we were given the dollar amount for treatment, we were lost for words as the cost was more than 10k. We were referred to Dr. Hunt from a family member about a year ago so I figured I'd give him a call. Dr. Hunt was able to take him in within the hour from visiting the emergency room, we headed that way in Oliver was treated right away and went into surgery the next day. Oliver is now home with us and doing extremely well. Dr. Hunt was a blessing and took great care of our Oliver. We cannot thank him enough. I would highly recommend this location to any friend or family member.

He’s the best in AZ with greyhounds, who need specialized care for diagnosis & treatment. I’ve always driven 45-60min each way to get there, but the care we receive is stellar!
December 01 · Laura Hatfield, APRNNew to the area and are so relieved to have found a vet we trust! Our Great Dane started having issues a month after we got here. He’s been to Urgent Care, internal medicine, and another primary vet. All the tests were done and $5K later, not any solid answers :/We found Dr Weir and he was able to take the medical history coupled with his own examination to give us the best explanation of what likely is going on that we’ve received yet. Plus, he laid out a reasonable plan of action that didn’t involve throwing spaghetti at the wall by ordering every possible test.We appreciate his thorough exam without pushing us to spend more money on tests that likely wouldn’t give us answers. He’s honestly the best vet we’ve seen for the 12 years we’ve had dogs.Thank you, Dr Weir!
October 24 · Addie HolzmannWe are incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Hunt, thanks to a recommendation from AZ Pet Spay and Neuter in Mesa. After bringing in our mini schnauzer for some health concerns, Dr. Hunt quickly diagnosed her with a UTI and bladder stones, and later performed her surgery. Everything went smoothly, and we felt completely supported and reassured the entire time. What really stood out about Dr. Hunt— he’s a true expert. His knowledge and experience were immediately evident, and what was especially impressive is that his initial thoughts and “guestimates” were confirmed when the tests came back. That level of accuracy and trust in his judgment made all the difference in the world. After five years with a privately owned clinic that shared similar values, we were disappointed when it was acquired by a larger corporate group. With the changes came higher fees and a loss of the personal care we had come to rely on. Finding Dr. Hunt was like returning to what really matters: genuine, compassionate care that always puts the animal’s well-being first. We’re so thankful to have found Dr. Hunt, and we trust him wholeheartedly. We hope he continues to care for pets for many years to come. Our schnauzer is doing wonderfully, and we feel so fortunate to have finally found a vet we can trust completely.
May 14 · ShanellTo be honest this place is great they did everything they were supposed to and kept my baby healthy. My only complaint is who ever is answering the phone. Never friendly always short and lowkey rude.
