September 05 · Critter ScienceEdited 8/13/2025. We have been bringing our mini zoo here for years. They continue to be amazing. Dr. Brophy is our go to and is fantastic. The girls up front continue to be the sweetest and are always welcoming. Everyone here has always put the care of my animals foremost. Thank you all!Edited 11/18/23. Two years since my initial review. They are still amazing! We have been coming here for years and years now. Dr. Brophy and Dr. Kolt Peightal are so knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. The techs, nurses, and front desk staff are equally as impressive. I can write a novel on all the times they have gone and continue to go above and beyond. I just want them to know that they are appreciated. My family is extremely grateful for everyone there. These guys are amazing and so kindhearted at what they do. They see our entire zoo! They did an emergency surgery on our cat who ate a foreign object. The dr texted me updates throughout the day and even after hours on his surgery and recovery. They have also been great in helping us navigate my Pittie’s kidney disease, often squeezing us in last minute for check ups/medications.They treated my Jack Russel who got into a scrap and needed drains/stitches. They rushed her back and had her cleaned up in no time.Time and time again, Ironwood has been there for my pet family for everything fromEmergencies to their preventive care. The office staff is amazing and I trust ironwood completely on the care of all of my animals!

October 07 · Markus higueraBella (Golden Retriever) and family had a good experience with Ironwood Animal Hospital. It was good to see Dr. Wooten again. She is a very caring individual that we have worked with for over 15 years. Would highly recommend her for your pet needs. Never feel rushed when she checks out our pets.
September 18 · Ray BrownI had an appointment at 1:30 and due to traffic from an accident and construction we got into the parking lot at 1:39. I called while pulling in to make sure they could still take my dog for his scheduled appointment and the phone line rang continuously for a couple minutes. So I ran my dog and daughter inside with me and the front receptionist sat on the phone, didn’t place the call on a brief hold to check me in or ask how I could be helped so we sat for another couple minutes and by the time she got off the phone it was 1:45 and she asked how I could be helped and I went ahead and gave her my dogs name and she goes “do you know his appointment was at 2?” And I said “oh then I guess we are early” and then she goes “I mean 1:30” and looked at me like we will not be taking you so I had to ask her for further explanation on their policies and said “do you guys have a 10 or 15 minute late policy?” Which I completely understand. They’re in place for a reason. And she said yeah 15 minutes and it’s passed that. So I said “by a minute?” Because now it’s 1:46. And I told her we have been in the waiting room for a few minutes while she was on the phone and she said “you came in at 1:44” first of all I did not and second of all if I did I’m still before the 15 minutes am I not? And why even bother giving attitude and stating that? Then she goes well I guess I can go back and ask the doctor if she can take him or not and walked back with some sass. So I walked out. I will be going elsewhere.
