Urban Livestock & Equine Veterinary Services Introduce
For pet owners, ranch managers, and small farm enthusiasts across Arizona’s East Valley—including San Tan Valley, Queen Creek, Gilbert, and Mesa—accessing reliable veterinary care for a wide range of animals is crucial. Urban Livestock & Equine Veterinary Services provides a unique solution as a family-owned mixed animal practice, expertly bridging the gap between small animal veterinary needs and specialized large animal and livestock medicine. This practice is distinct in the Arizona market because it offers both traditional in-clinic appointments at their San Tan Valley location and comprehensive mobile veterinary services, bringing expert care directly to your home or ranch.
The practice was founded on the principle of providing the full extent of diagnostics and treatment available to every patient, whether they are a beloved house cat or a working horse. The dedicated team—including veterinarians and staff—is passionate about delivering high-quality, stress-free care and strives to treat every animal as if it were their own. They offer both routine preventative medicine and essential medical, surgical, and emergency services for the diverse array of animals found in the greater Phoenix metropolitan and surrounding areas, even extending their mobile coverage to Yuma County monthly. Their growth from a mobile-only service to including a clinic location in 2022 was driven by a commitment to expand their capabilities and better serve their growing "client family."
Urban Livestock & Equine Veterinary Services is strategically positioned to serve the expanding suburban and rural communities of the East Valley. They operate out of a fixed clinic location while also maintaining an extensive mobile service area.
The clinic address is:

The in-clinic hours generally run Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with appointments highly recommended for both clinic and mobile visits.

For Arizona residents, choosing Urban Livestock & Equine Veterinary Services means selecting a practice that prioritizes comprehensive care, client convenience, and compassionate service. The most compelling reason to choose this veterinarian is its incredibly rare and extensive mixed-animal and mobile practice model. In the semi-rural and growing suburban areas of the East Valley, having a single, reliable team capable of handling routine preventative care for small animals (dogs, cats, pocket pets) right alongside advanced surgical and reproductive care for large animals (horses, cattle, goats) is an invaluable resource that saves time, stress, and logistical complexity.
Client testimonials strongly affirm the compassionate nature of the practice, particularly during sensitive times. For instance, a customer who had to lay their dog to rest at home noted the experience was "super stress free and peaceful for my dog" and that the team's support "Made my grieving a lot easier." Another client echoed this sentiment, highly recommending the practice for the dignity and respect provided during an "end of life" service. This deep level of empathy demonstrates a critical component of care that goes beyond medical proficiency.
Furthermore, the mobile service is a huge advantage for various reasons. It is perfect for managing the health of large herds on site, and it dramatically reduces the stress for household pets that may be anxious in a clinic environment or suffer from mobility issues. The flexibility of offering both in-clinic and on-site care ensures that whether you have a single canine companion or a full farm of livestock, you can receive expert medical attention tailored to your animal's size and needs. The combination of family ownership, comprehensive services, and demonstrated commitment to compassionate care, alongside what customers describe as "Extremely great pricing," makes Urban Livestock & Equine Veterinary Services a highly recommended choice for all your veterinary needs in the Arizona East Valley.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Cannot speak highly enough of Urban Livestock! 1000% recommended to anyone! Jenna and Dr. Coriell and the entire team. Such a family and refreshing to have a vet that isn’t out to steal money and genuinely care. Extremely great pricing every visit. Laid my dog to rest today at my home and the visit was super stress free and peaceful for my dog. Thank you all for the help and support during this hard process. Made my grieving a lot easier.
August 13 · Sage AndersonBrought my old dog in for assist with end of life. We were able to send my boy across the rainbow bridge with dignity and respect. They were so kind and compassionate, gentle with him and explained everything that was being done. They even had a plate of treats and chocolate ready, and a blanket already in the room. It's hard to say goodbye, but we had the opportunity that so many don't get. Highly recommend with the experience we had.
July 22 · Janice BakerDoc. C and his crew came out to my farm a few days ago. They were A ++++++++!!!All of my animals were seen, 40 chickens 6 ducks, 3 geese, and 5 goats. They stood outside in the blistering sun with me as I asked ALL of the questions. They didn’t rush my visit at all. They stayed here for over an hour just going over my notes, giving me suggestions, and were MORE than happy to throw in a free lesson to cut my babies hooves, just because they knew and respected my farmer wage. And that is worth its weight in gold.DR. c. Took his time with ALL of my animals. Carefully inspecting them as if they were his own.I have never met a vet that did that. I will forever be going to Urban, and it’s even more comforting that they will take time out of their day to answer my anxiety ridden questions, and comfort me by saying “you just care ! And that’s what we want for your animals too! “Affordable, professional, and DR. c, and the two lovely girls that were with him for Glassboxes farm visit, will always have a seat at our table.Thank you guys so much, and May God continue to bless you with success!
July 24 · Glynnis SierraRating from both a client standpoint & employee, Urban has had such an impact on my life. I have never worked at an animal hospital where I felt so important, felt listened to or felt so passionate about the work that they provide. All the doctors have treated my animals like they were their own. Last year I had 3 pets all cross the rainbow bridge. The empathy and professionalism from every single coworker was heart warming. I wish I could scream from the rooftops how much this business means to the owners. Both doctors and fellow technicians treat every client like they are family & the level of skill they all have, for every species is inspiring. I couldn’t and wouldn’t have wanted anyone else helping me say goodbye to my own pets.
November 26 · Brittany HallUrban Livestock and Equine Veterinary Services is hands down the best vet clinic I’ve ever worked with. They go above and beyond to make sure every animal gets personalized and attentive care. Recently, my horse had a serious issue, and their team responded quickly, providing a thorough exam and thoughtful treatment plan. What sets them apart is their professionalism paired with warmth and kindness. They took the time to follow up and made sure I had all the resources I needed to continue care at home. It’s rare to find a veterinary service that feels more like family, but Urban Livestock has managed to create just that. I trust them completely and will always recommend their services to others.
