Tempe Pet Clinic Introduce
The clinic is widely known throughout Maricopa County as a premier low-cost vaccine, spay, and neuter clinic. However, their services extend far beyond these essential offerings, encompassing a broad range of general practice and surgical services. This blend of specialized affordable programs and full-service medical care, all delivered by an experienced and genuinely caring team, positions Tempe Pet Clinic as a community-favorite veterinarian. Dr. Steve Waldo, a long-time East Valley veteran of over 20 years, leads the practice with expertise in preventative health, surgery, and common regional issues like pet allergies.
Patient testimonials consistently underscore the combination of affordability and unparalleled human-animal care. Customers frequently highlight the "amazing services & staff," noting that their pets, even those who are "very reactive," are handled with the best of care to make them feel "safe & comfortable." This dedication to patient comfort, coupled with the "affordable" pricing and an efficient "quick in & out process," builds an exceptional level of trust within the community—a trust that one long-term client expressed as believing in them "1000%." The clinic is not just a place for medical treatment; it is a center of genuine compassion, exemplified by a staff member's immediate and selfless reaction to help a panicked owner recapture an escaped kitten in the parking lot—a moment described by the client as "so far above and beyond the call of duty."

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Amazing services & staff. I go to them for shots, check ups & surgery. They handle my furbabies with the best of care. One of my dogs is very reactive. They do everything possible to make him feel safe & comfortable. I trust them 1000%. It’s always a quick in & out process. And I leave with a lot of information. Prices are affordable!
September 10 · Anisa NoriegaI've been coming to this vet for 30+ years. Many of my pets have been spayed /neutered here at such a reasonable cost. The staff is always so helpful and welcoming. In Oct we had the misfortune of finding out my Shepherd Mr. Kilo Green had advanced stage lymphoma and 3 months later we had to send him over the rainbow bridge. Doctor Waldo throughout those 3 months was happy to help, gentle with the deliverance of the awful news, and had fantastic bedside manner throughout the entirety of the end of life stage for my beautiful boy.Today I brought my indoor kitten Mr. Mello Meows in, as he had a terrible abscess on his rear apparently from a feral cat bite (when he escaped our house, he doesn't go outside EVER!) As I was entering the building the carrier fell hit the ground and broke open. Mel fled to the parking lot which was horrifying but thank God for the Front Desk lady she immediately came to my rescue as did another helpful patient and was able to help me get him back into a carrier safely. I can't tell the staff how much I genuinely appreciate their true concern and desire to help a complete stranger out in the time of need. This is so far above and beyond the call of duty and I'm honestly shocked that they came to my rescue as quickly as they did. Most people would have just watched the action unfold and go on about their day.I literally can only share positive feedback for this Vet office and highly recommend you bring your animals here. Especially for spay/neuter!

August 27 · Kitty LowDr Peterson and staff were fantastic with our boys! Go see them.. AND, they have walk in immunizations M, W, F from 8-11, very convenient. Will be returning for sure. Thanks! :)
September 17 · Valery BrandowTook one of 3 cats to get fixed(was gonna get one at a time) when I got there, I filled out some paperwork and then waited about 5-10 mins for them to call us back. The last was very nice and informed me that one of socks testicles was not where it should b. She felt around in his tummy area and said she things she found it but wanted to make sure and have the DR check to make sure and to see if they could still do the surgery and that he was not there yet but will b soon and she would call me. About 5 mins later she called and said the DR said he can do it. I was scared for my cat. They assured me everything would b ok and they would call me around 4-5 to come pick him up. And they did and everything went well. Taking my other 2 cats in to get fixed at the end of the month. Thank u Tempe Pet Clinic.
